“It was great to shop at the Dollar tree and see Tom as the Cashier. He was always attentive to me when he worked at the old Rite Aid in Severna Park for many years. He is professional and pleasant. Tom put my bags in the car when I pulled up in front of the store. Tom is a definite asset to the Pasadena Dollar Tree.”

... First things first, I moved here from Florida and the Dollar generals in Anne Arundel county and in Baltimore area are so so much better than the ones in Central Florida!
They seem to sell everything from quality bras and comfortable underwear. To medicines to name brand makeup to baby things to furniture, lamps to all name brand types of food, cereals, ice creams, great priced milk even almond milk!
In this particular one off Veterans highway in Millersville, MD. Everybody is always so nice and so helpful and they genuinely want you to save money and explain the quality of your savings If you download the app.
The only reason I haven't visited more often is because I'm a forgetful person and it's not right around the corner from you. Now that I've gone there a couple times to doordash and deliver for other people, I am definitely a true believer in this store and I even got the app.
You can get cash back! And I mean good cash back. For example, they'll tell you, you can earn $3 off Venus four pack razors and the razors will only be $6!!! Other full price convenient and grocery stores, they're I think somewhere from 12 to 16 bucks!! So in retrospect you're only paying $3 for these razors at any Dollar General ( at least for this week's special ? ) because they're giving you immediately another $3 to go spend in their store!!!!! It doesn't get much better than that ? but the nice and friendly and helpful employees really make it a thousand times better than any other discount store I can think of at this time! Or really any store. They definitely raise the bar for quality. Kind friendly, helpful customer service!
To clarify, I do not know anybody that works there. I have never worked here. I've only been in this store four times. This is truly how impressed I am with this store and this location particularly ?
I wish I could remember the name of the young man working Sunday June 23rd, 2024 evening to closing shift, at the register.... because he was terrific!!!! If Dollar general sees this and knows the person's name, please let me know so I can give them a shout out in this review because they gave terrific, joyful, efficient customer service. They were very knowledgeable and helpful about the app while still keeping up with a line and being the only person on the register! And doing all with a smile and genuinely and authentically seemed to love what they do and moved helping people which I think is fantastic!!”
“This is by far one of the cleanest family dollar stores I’ve ever been in. It’s also organized. I’ll be shopping here now instead of Dollar General . Only down fall is there’s so many tags(security tags) on a lot of items but I completely understand why.”

“I went in on December 1st looking for more stockings. I nominated myself to do 65 stockings for work and I was 8 short. This was the 4th Dollar General I had visited. The cashier took her time to look through the boxes for me. We may not have what I was looking for, but out of the 4 other local stores I visited, she was the most helpful and thoughtful person I dealt with. “This is a great store friendly staff very helpful courteous and the store is always clean stocked up and the prices and quality of the merchandise is great . They have just about everything you need . The last time I went I found Centrum One a Day Gummy Vitamins for only $5 I was paying $12 for the exact same quantity at Walgreens and if you don't mind generics it's even cheaper. I also get a lot of my pet supplies here and they always have them in stock at great prices. I highly recommend going.”

“There was this cashier, I don't know her name. It's my first time here. She was soo nice. ( A black lady with a short blonde hair). I told her I liked her outfit and she smiled with a happy positive attitude and I told her I don't know if I was the 1st time giving her a compliment today. She said you are I got here at 5:30 pm. I said yup that's an hour ago. She told me I was pretty twicr. She asked me if I needed a bag, I said yes. She put my items in the bag for me. We had a small conversation, but wanted to keep it short due to a customer coming in the line. Honestly, her outfit was fire and she was really friendly. This store was huge too.”
“You can find so much here from home decor to household items, holiday/ seasonal things, pantry & food, clothing, etc: They even have Ravens stuff there now. This is my neighborhood Fam $. Cashiers & guy always sitting by door are very friendly. Prices have gone up but they pretty much have everywhere. You have to get there sometimes before things are bought out & they restock but basically this is a really cool, decent Fam $.”
“I visited the DG in Crofton, MD. I stop in there atleast once a month. I was approached and assisted by Demetrius. He was kind and helpful. I dropped a glass item and was immediately upset. “I never went to these stories before. However, I was surprised at what they had and the prices that they offered. You can get a large Christmas gift bags and boxes for a $1.50, where is it be paying $5 or more at the regular store
Everyday items like cleaners, toiletries, office supplies are amazingly priced so low
In many cases these are the exact same things, even the same brands, and you would find out a regular store nothing much lower price. The only difference is the store is not fancy - it doesn't have the bells and whistles, and the glitter that provide the snob appeal of more expensive stores
Even monied people living in large houses, who used to turn their nose up at this store are shoppingore here now.”
“Not every store that has the name "Dollar" in front of it is a S1 store. the Dollar Tree stores are always $1 or less. Some things maybe a little higher. However, stores like Dollar General, Dollar Shop, etc yes the names are deceiving, but nothing is $1. I go to this store when I need certain things, if I can't find an item and ask the owners or cashier they're often helpful.”
“There’s a cashier (Zelma) and she is very VERY RUDE. She doesn’t know how to talk to people at all. She even talks to the managers horribly. The manager JoJo is very polite and very helpful. You can tell she’s trying to get the store together and be presentable.”

Selection: they have a good selection of items that you may not want to pay alot for. This store seems to always be cluttered with carts of stock items near the front Value: I usually get my paper products here. Paper towels, napkins and bathroom tissue is a great value. Why pay alot for things you're throwing in the trash Laundry detergent and other name brand household items are a great value at family dollar. - they use brown paper bags with no handles here. Bring your own shopping bags because you can't take the shopping carts out to your car.”
“I love Dollar general because majority of the time they have what I go there for so it is my favorite place to go when I want apple juice cereal and most of all to find need some earphones most people spend a lot of money on those kind of things but I get mine from Dollar general and they work just as good as if you brought them somewhere else paying all that money it's expensive but if you can afford the best then you go with the best and Dollar general headphones earphones they are the best for me I don't stand as much money on them and they last me a long time so I will continue to go to my favorite store Dollar general why don't you stop by sometimes come in look around.”

“I count on Dollar Tree for everything I need. I shop here first and then go to the grocery store. This store is pretty much like all the other stores. I get stuff i regularly use. Like canned soup . 1.25 at Dollar Tree. 3.15 at the grocery store. I save lots of money doing this. The staff is friendly and helpful.”
