I had an abysmal experience using Generation Tux for my nephew's black tie wedding. Suit arrived laughably too large and the quality was garbage, even for a rental tux. I cancelled the order, got a refund, and walked immediately over to Anthony's Tuxedo.

Unlike Gen Tux, Anthony's has actual clothing items to try on in store. Ed took my meaurements, gave me two sizes to try on based on that, and guided me on which size looked best. I don't think I'll personally need it, but Ed also mentioned he works with a tailor nearby to get minor alterations done to pants if need be.

Anthony's Tuxedo saved me A LOT of frustration and headache. Ed saved the day.”

I booked the no frills appointment because it was my first time dress shopping and I had no idea what I wanted and I didn’t want to feel pressured. I went on a weekday so the weren’t too busy and I definitely received 5 star service. The attendant was so sweet and helpful, and took the time to pull so many dresses for me! She was very patient and kind. The dresses were beautiful! Would highly recommend! “Wonderful experience having my dress tailored here. The tulle was delicate and hard to work with and they still were able to make it fit in all the right places and cinched the tulle around the waist perfectly to keep it from puffing. The bustle was also a life saver because it had rained the morning of my wedding to the train was very heavy to walk around with after getting soaked. Overall, they were super lovely and really happy with the dress.”

“I had an amazing experience with House of Ketubah! I was assisted by Tiffany and her daughter, Gabby, and both were amazing. I thought the first dress they selected for me to try on would be the one I said yes too, but my mom wanted me to try more and the second dress ended up being the one. “Exceptional Service from Jennifer - Feedback on Return Policy

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at Anthropologie, particularly highlighting the outstanding service I received from Jennifer, located in Georgetown.

After a disappointing experience at the Bethesda and Fairfax locations, where staff refused to assist me with returning a lilac taper candle set of 2 without a receipt, I was feeling quite frustrated. Despite explaining that I had purchased the item from the Georgetown location just a week prior and requesting that they call for my receipt number, I was met with resistance and no resolution.

However, when I returned to the Georgetown store, Jennifer went above and beyond to help me. She not only located my receipt but also confirmed that the other locations had the capability to retrieve receipt numbers from their store. While she mentioned it would take some extra time, it was reassuring to know that a solution was possible.

Jennifer's exceptional customer service made a significant difference in my experience. She was friendly, patient, and truly exemplified what excellent customer care should be. I genuinely appreciate her efforts and will remember the positive interactions I had with her - I think it would add value to Anthropologie if all staff was trained by Jennifer.

In addition to recognizing Jennifer's exemplary service, I would like to suggest that Anthropologie consider updating its return policy. A 30 day return window for customers without receipts would be more accommodating, especially when it's clear that the product has not been used. Additionally, implementing a system for customers to select receipt emails or texts upon purchase, particularly for transactions involving gift cards, would be a helpful improvement. This would prevent situations like mine, where my gift card was discarded after use.

“I visited the store on 12/8/25 to place a birthday order for balloons. Javonna B. assisted me with my order and also addressed my general inquiries. She was extremely courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I truly appreciated the exceptional customer service I received. Unfortunately, in the times we now live in, you can't even receive BASIC customer service when that should be the standard, not the exception. As for the retailers, Big-box stores, etc., they just don't seem to care. I'll definitely revisit this location and make future purchases. Thanks for caring and KUDOS to Javonna B!!”

“I searched for a classic bridesmaid dress for my girls and Bella Bridesmaids absolutely delivered that. From SO MANY selections, I would find it hard to not find a dress you liked. I had bridesmaids all down the east coast, and with the multiple locations, the DC store made it possible so my bridesmaids could order and pick up at the location nearest them.
My in person appointment was wonderful! Our consultant let my girls try on as many styles as they wanted and we never felt the pressure to get something that they did not love.
