“I booked an appt to shop the sample sale and I am so glad I did! First off, great atmosphere and set-up for displaying and trying on the dresses. There were also snacks and beverages available (didn't get that at the other 2 places I went). Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff - but not pushy. The booking fee was much less than the other places I went. I found my dress here during the sample sale and got it more than 60% off (other places were offering 20ish% off for samples). I am so thrilled with my dress, and the whole experience was great. There were a lot of little cute touches that Ellie's provided too - like the signs and a backdrop for photos, gifts after purchase. Loved it!”

“There aren't enough wonderful things I could say about my experience with Marie & Serki!! I live in San Diego but was in VA for a work conference. I didn't love any of the dresses I had tried back home, so I thought I'd take a shot at trying a few dresses during my lunch break! I called Global Bridal and they told me to come on in.. I rushed over to Global Bridal and Marie met me immediately with the dress I had inquired about and the most incredible amount of loving energy I'm still deeply appreciating 1 month later. I didn't love the dress I had picked, but Marie had already picked out 3 dresses for me to try.. every dress was more & more beautiful! I was sure the 2nd dress was the one, but Marie convinced me to try one more.. and my goodness, IT WAS PERFECT! My mother passed away 5 years ago to the day.. and wedding dress shopping without my mom has been something that I've been truthfully dreading.. but the way Marie & Serki were celebrating with me and loving on me.. it was one of the first times since she's passed that I felt my mom's presence in a big way. I truly believe that my mom led me to visit Marie & Serki that day and the memory of my trip at Global Bridal still brings me tears of joy. Marie & Serki- thank you from the bottom of my heart! You didn't know this, but you both made what would've been a dreadful experience for me one of the most enjoyable and heart-warming days for me. Your love for your brides is felt in a way that is SO unique and authentic.. Not only were they incredibly kind in the entire tailoring process, they also helped make a last minute adjustment literally days before I had to leave for my wedding week out of state. They helped me figure out what undergarments best suited my dress and offered a wealth of knowledge for proper dress care. I felt well cared for and I am so grateful for their support!”

“Mina did an amazing job with my ao dai! I received so many compliments on it at my engagement dinner from both my own guests and strangers that I came across throughout the day. The fit was perfect (the lower half of my body is quite wide, and I have a hard time finding pants--the pants were totally comfortable!) and the color was just what I asked for. The hat even fit my head! I can never get a hat to fit my head lollll. Mina said that the ao dai would be completed in 2 months, and it was (to my surprise) *exactly* 2 months lol. I really appreciate how responsive she was to my messages throughout the process and how helpful she was while I was shopping for both ao dai and western-style wedding dresses.
