“Had an issue with my online order via the app and called customer service. Only on hold for a minute before I spoke with a very nice lady who immediately gave me the store phone number. Laura at Oxen Hill knew about my order as soon as I gave her the number, confirmed that it was being prepared and adjusted the order quantity for me. Felt like I was dealing with my local hardware store rather than a big box store. Thank you! Can’t wait to finish my project!”

“The couple times I’ve visited, the staff at Bill’s Ace Hardware has been very knowledgeable and helpful. When the store didn’t have a specific item we were looking for in stock, Sam was very helpful and called a few other stores to check if they had it in stock, and asked them to confirm the item was on the shelf (rather than just in the system). It was much appreciated since it saved us the drive for the store that didn’t have it, and we knew which of the two to go to.”

“Located on King Street, this is hands down the best area to explore in Alexandria! ?️✨ It’s packed with popular restaurants, ice cream shops, and cozy cafes—all in one place. ?☕ And don’t miss the beautiful fountain—it’s such a charming spot to relax and soak up the vibe! ??”

I was also impressed by the great selection of home appliances at affordable prices. It’s refreshing to receive such excellent customer service while finding quality products at a good value. Thank you to the entire team for making my visit such a positive experience. I’ll definitely be back!”

“The staff (young people) in the garden center were very helpful and friendly! Well stocked, clean. Have made returns at this DC Lowe’s seamlessly. Spacious parking lot. Keep hiring good folks. I will be returning! God bless.”

“I was looking for a specific drill bit. Website said they had it, but I had already been burned by that claim at a different retailer and I was under a time constraint. I called the store and the hardware associate is booked it up and went to check that it was there. I cery much appreciated the extra effort.”

“We had an excellent experience at this Home Depot! El Jah, the lot associate, was amazing. He helped us load a large patio set into our car and stayed positive the entire time, even though we had to try several different ways to fit the heavy boxes. His patience, professionalism, and willingness to help really stood out. Mike, the head cashier, was also incredibly helpful and made the whole experience even better. I truly appreciate the teamwork and great customer service from everyone involved. I also noticed that the associates had water available while working in the extreme heat, which says a lot about Home Depot taking care of its employees. It’s great to see a company supporting its team while they work hard to take care of customers. Thank you all for such a positive experience!”

“The automatic key cutter machine was different than I've use at other HDs, and there was no one available to help. Figured it out and even paid at the machine. Six dollars for a plain brass key is pretty expensive. And the decorative keys start at $9, far too expensive.”

“Shoutout to The Home Depot for being more than a business—they truly care about the community. From the garden center to checkout to loading our vehicle, the customer service was exceptional. Their support helped make our Clean and Green: Elevate the Scene event a success for our students and families. We’re grateful for the partnership and the care shown throughout the experience!”

“Outstanding help, Mijo (not sure name) Sunday 18th. He was patient in finding off size bolt. I was short one bolt on job, made my day. Good service. (I'd been Home Depot & ACE) Yanci at Lowe’s was outstanding. The first dryer was severely defective—so loud the tech confirmed it needed to be returned. Without Yanci’s help, I would have canceled the purchase and gone to Home Depot. Her personal service is the only reason the situation was resolved satisfactorily. Good staff truly makes the difference.”

“I would like to recognize Melinda who was working in the paint section this Monday, July 13th around noon. She was great! Knowledgeable, energetic, cheerful, ready to help. As soon as she finished helping me, she headed off to help another customer down the aisle. She made it a great experience to shop at the Alexandria VA. Lowe's.”
