“Vince... a very gregarious and knowledge owner/salesperson. It was a pleasure visiting his store for the first time and meeting him. I learned it was a family business that he's now run for decades. The store is packed to the ceiling and displayed attractively out front, with just about everything you'd need/expect in a hardware store (not lumber yard.)I'd called in and he was able to salvage the correct part for my lawn mower from one that was located "out back." He saved me approx. $20 by getting me the handle I needed, which didn't have it's own individual part number, without having to by the whole self-propel control unit.I will return.”

“I came in looking for a specific metallic paint color finding only your Fort Avenue location was the only store to carry the metallic paint and had only one gallon of silver left. The color I needed was a champagne nickel. The young woman who was waiting on me said she could try to mix the color if I could show her a sample of the color. I pulled two chips and said it was between those two. Well when I came into pick it up several days later I was simply amazed. It was the perfect color, spot on just what I had wanted So very Pleased! Lauren rang me and mixed a quart accent color and was very helpful. “This is the best paint store I've ever been to, and I've been through a lot of remodels. The staff here are so patient and committed to helping customers. The Benjamin Moore company had an incorrect formula on their company website, so two different employees, on two days, spent a lot of time getting the color exactly right to match the paint chip card. The color is beautiful, but I'm most impressed with the customer service. Thank you.”

“I had an exceptional experience with Costello's Ace Hardware store. I purchased a Blackstone Grill the weekend after Memorial Day, and they delivered it on Sunday, less than 24 hours after I placed my order.
The service exceeded my expectations in several ways:
* They delivered the grill fully assembled.
* Instead of just dropping it at my door, they placed it on my deck.
* They even handed me a battery for the starter, explaining that they often receive calls from customers who don't realize a battery is needed.
