“This has been my favorite comic store for the past year. The staff here are incredibly friendly and knowledgable about past and current releases. I have been coming here every week and every time it feels catching up with a friend who likes all the same comics as you.I really can't recommend this place enough, their comic section is awesome, especially with the giant wall of new releases. And im not into games but they have a giant section for it. The legos on display on the top floor is another highlight.This place is moving soon but try to take advantage of their moving sale and keep checking back to see where their new location takes them!”

“I don’t go to bookstores often (my tax dollars support the local library), but every time I’ve gone to Long Gate’s B&N I’ve been pleased. The absence of ramps and heaviness of the doors don’t bother me now that my kids are out of strollers and in college, and I like browsing so I can add books to my TBR list! I used to meet there in the late evenings with my co-leader to plan events for our moms group, and it was an excellent atmosphere—quieter than most libraries! I’m meeting my neighbor there tomorrow night and anticipate another great time. I’m not bothered by what Starbucks does or doesn’t accept; it’s a bookstore, and I’m looking at books. I don’t go to a bookstore for coffee and pastries (or in my case, chai and a croissant sandwich). But as a member, I do get a discount on Starbucks purchases as well as free shipping (so I wouldn’t need to go to the store at all, but what fun would that be?).”
“I've been coming to this shop for over 25 years. Amazing selection of whatever nerdy stuff you might like, big back issue collection, and a giant TV that's always playing movies. There's anything you can imagine here, funkos, toys, t-shirts, posters, trade paperbacks and hardcovers, and most weeks there's a sale going on. I used to come all the way from Silver Spring on a weekly basis just to get my new comics, and if I hadn't gotten married and had a few kids, I still would be. I love this place, and I love this town, and I love these people. Come check it out, if for no other reason than to see the space, it used to be a movie theater. It will become your regular weekly hangout.”

“I totally missed the manager’s name (´༎ຶོρ༎ຶོ`)but she had a rainbow bunny pinned to her apron and a cool rainbow-chrome watch! She was so warm, sweet, and patient with me, especially with helping to fix an issue I had with redeeming rewards for a pickup order. I have anxiety issues and prefer to online shop (vs going into stores) but she made me feel so welcomed and happy! She seems to genuinely love the products, was super knowledgeable, and was just all-around super-duper nice! (I can see why she’s a manager :D) I hope she’s there the next time I shop! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ In case corporate is reading this, lol, the store was clean, really well organized, and the other associates working there today were also very nice!”

“Smart Kids Toys is an amazing toy store with a wide variety of interesting toys for all ages. This is one of the very few toy stores where I can buy specialty toys for kids. The previous owner Jeff was great. The new owners are also very nice and knowledgeable people. I love the selection of placemats they have in the store. Their products are high quality and safe. I always go there for any birthday gifts and any other occasion.”
