“Long story short here . I needed to retrieve a key from a defunct lockbox for one of my listings . Make no mistake those things are built not to be broken open . It took two guys 30 Mins to pry it open for me using bars and wrenches . And they did it all with a great attitude. This place and team are the absolute best .”
“I feel lucky to have such a nice hardware store in the neighborhood. The staff are friendly, so knowledgeable, and it feels like they’re really invested in my issue/experience. In bigger stores, I’m often walking around for ages trying to find someone to help me. And when I do find someone in the bigger stores, they don’t have much experience with the products so I end up trying to navigate many options with no guidance. I feel confident in my selections and the value of the products I’m purchasing after visiting McLean Hardware.”

“Awesome Job! I purchased the tune up packages for my old riding mower (wouldn't start) and my snow blower (sat around way too long with old gas which gummed up the carb). Used the pickup and delivery service as well, everything is running great. Really appreciate the quality work, well worth the cost!”

“I recently revisited after moving away a couple of years ago and had forgotten how much I love the Glover Park Ace. From the outside and when you first walk in, it looks like it's going to be small with limited products, but it's surprisingly large considering its location on Wisconsin. They've used every inch of the space to stock a wide selection of products while keeping it well organized and tidy. I do a lot of home maintenance and home improvement projects and the staff here are awesome - super friendly and always nearby and ready to help.”

“I received excellent service and insight during my visit on 3/21/26. I needed a new cartridge for my Moen shower. The staff (names I have forgotten) helped me get the cartridge puller and correct cartridge (I thought I got the wrong one but it turns out I didn't put it together correctly at first). I will be returning to the store regularly.”

“Harbor Freight is what it is: adequate tools at cheap prices. Retired mechanic who had over $60k in tools and box speaking here, so I might know a thing or two about tools. However, you just can't beat the prices for tools that will get the job done around the house, but they definitely aren't for professional/heavy-duty use. There are plenty of videos and stories online of their impact sockets literally exploding, so foretold is forewarned. BTW, Home Depot and Lowes tools aren't much better and are much more expensive regarding hand tools.”
“i came in to get new rope for pulley on power washer and Hank was nice enough to help me out- went as far as helping me put rope in and making sure i did it right - all the while he was super busy rushing get to an emergency job, stopped what he was doing and helped me out- superb customer service!!!!”

“I called to confirm an online order I had placed with Ace and reached Jonathan who was the super helpful in coordinating delivery of an assembled Weber grill to my daughter’s home on the occasion of my son-in-law’s birthday. It was all rather short notice and Jonathan took the time to confirm all the details necessary for a quick delivery in time for the big day, and actually got it there ahead of schedule! Jonathan was most helpful, professional and personable. Highly recommend”

I ended up ordering all of the materials for my deck and screened porch floor replacement from Sheets. “This is a huge store, & I am just referring to the regular store not the attached equipment rental area. I was here on a weekday morning, & I saw employees everywhere I looked. I never had a problem finding someone to ask for help from. I recommend this Home Depot for all your seasonal decorations & your home improvement, fixit and related maintenance items. There is also a nice, large and clean men's restroom. The Christmas decorations you can get here are awesome & more than enough to decorate both the inside & outside of your home in the spirit of the season. If you are looking for a good sale they are in every department of the store. There was clearance in the gardening department and winter hand warmers on sale at the entrance.
