“Wow! I am just so pleased with my store experience today. A little cutie patootie named Max helped me out so much today! I came into the store today in search of soil for my gardening pots but I needed help as I did not know which I needed for my pots. I went up to a young man named max who seemed to be seemed to be busy but dropped everything and started helping. He was a huuuuuge help. He taught me all of the nooks and crannies of soil and showed me everything I needed to know and which to buy. Also at checkout he was being a great helper as I was having trouble with my coupons, these gizmos these days are killing me. But he did what he should and called his manager over who later helped me, it was a life saver. He was such a polite young man too and even carried my bags of soil out to my car. Oh boy do I wish I was young again and could carry my stuff! This boy is a rockstar as most kids his age are too lazy to even do a job. When I was a kid everyone had jobs! 5 stars!!!!”
“Dan Kugler’s Design Center is an absolute treasure. Everyone who works there is friendly, kind and professional. They want to make your experience there the best it can be. I drove there from Fredericksburg, Va to get a Hunter Douglas shade restrung, but would return for any future design needs. They had the blind restrung before I could get a cup of coffee. “Our basement was lowered and underpinned to reach a legal 8ft ceiling height. The GPC team handled our project from design and permits, to completion. Their insurance coverage is amazing and not only protected our house but the neighbors house! If you are looking for foundation, excavation or underpinning services GPC is the way to Go. Big thanks to Gabriel and his crew for working their butts off in the dig put process.”

“Working with Jason at Amicus Green Building Center was a lifesaver for me. I bought a recently-built condo in 2021, and I was having chemical sensitivity reactions to the materials in the condo, so I found Amicus Green online to try to find safer, less-toxic materials to put in my condo so I could actually live in it comfortably. He helped me order and color some AFM zero-VOC paints, and I was able to have the contractor pick them up from Amicus and bring them to where I lived nearby. I was also able to order some Earthweave 100% wool carpet and pads to replace the original carpets, and also worked with the contractor to pick up the materials directly from Amicus to install them.The combination of the zero-VOC paints, the Earthweave 100% wool carpet, and a couple of Austin Air carbon filters were enough to make my condo livable for me, and I'll always be grateful to Amicus for that. Jason was a helpful resource for gaining access to these types of natural home renovation materials, that I normally would not have had access to otherwise. I highly recommend Amicus Green Building Center for the safest, least toxic materials for any home renovation needs.”

“I am so happy I found Albert and his company, Astro Services. I own a spa in Alexandria and we wanted to get in-ceiling speakers in stalled for our music since we have extremely noisy upstairs neighbors. I am SO impressed with the professionalism of Albert and his company. The best companies to work with are the ones where the owners are involved with the day-to-day operations. From the very first email exchange with Albert until the completion of the installation, he was on top of things. I am also impressed by how quickly and consistently he communicated throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Astro Services. I will be using them again in the future if the need ever arises.”
“We just walked in to the Home Depot Design Center and within the 10 minutes they found us a designer. Kayla became our friend after our second meeting! She is very friendly and knowledgeable. She understands our needs and helped us to design our kitchen and ordered everything. Then she scheduled us a private dinner at their very own fantastic kitchen in the Design Center. “The service is excellent, from painless appliance ordering, to a thorough search for the correct rubber seal. There's always someone around the corner to ask if I need help with anything. This is how it should be, but at home improvement stores, it can be hard to come by. I drive here for the pleasant experience and easy parking over a closer competitor.”
“This is a huge store, & I am just referring to the regular store not the attached equipment rental area. I was here on a weekday morning, & I saw employees everywhere I looked. I never had a problem finding someone to ask for help from. I recommend this Home Depot for all your seasonal decorations & your home improvement, fixit and related maintenance items. There is also a nice, large and clean men's restroom. The Christmas decorations you can get here are awesome & more than enough to decorate both the inside & outside of your home in the spirit of the season. If you are looking for a good sale they are in every department of the store. There was clearance in the gardening department and winter hand warmers on sale at the entrance. “So so wish I could award half stars! I think this location deserves 3.5 stars.I like that the store advertises the mask mandate and provides hand sanitizer for customers. However, no one really social distances here. Unfortunately that includes employees who are walking close to you with their mask pulled down. Otherwise we had a good experience and found what we needed!”

“I am giving 4 Stars to this store because one exceptional associate, Frank in Oven/Cooktop Appliance Department. Frank Emailed price estimators (Xpro- bad experience) to get missing information. Frank gave us info for a second estimate (Prohome-great experience). Frank gave us names of great Electricians when installers realized they needed to move one outlet and also add a second outlet. While I ran into a few employees that did not know how to extract information from the company computer, I also have been helped by very knowledgeable salespersons such as Frank!”

“Busy, but car traffic disorganization. Cargo Vans, trucks ect should be at the top. Unless huge Carriers at the bottom civilian small cars at the bottom. Other than that, you won't have problems finding anything.”

“Long story short here . I needed to retrieve a key from a defunct lockbox for one of my listings . Make no mistake those things are built not to be broken open . It took two guys 30 Mins to pry it open for me using bars and wrenches . And they did it all with a great attitude. This place and team are the absolute best .”
