“I wanted to share some feedback that I hope comes across in the spirit of helping maintain the great environment your gym is known for. I’ve noticed on several occasions that one of the staff members appears to be somewhat disengaged while on shift — often using her phone, sitting on the floor, and even sometimes nowhere to be found (frustrating when I’m trying to use the black card member amenities), rather than assisting members or tending to general gym upkeep.
I want to be clear that I’m not trying to be overly critical or “tattle,” but as a paying member, I do feel that employees should be expected to stay attentive and proactive during their work hours. The gym runs best when everyone contributes, and it’s noticeable when that’s not happening.
I really value the facility and the rest of your team members, who are CONSISTENTLY kind, professional, and helpful, which is why I thought it was worth mentioning. The pic displays something I’ve seen frequently on weekends and was taken today (11/2/25). It was taken after the employee was not present or able to be found (not even sitting on the floor behind the desk) for over an hour after walking through the door.
