This is the friendliest and best storage facility you could rent from in the Baltimore/DC/Annapolis area.I would NOT recommend Public Storage in Odenton (who I was originally going to rent through) since they did not honor my reservation floor OR price from online. Public Storage in Odenton may look good online, but do not waste your time for hours like I did OR trust they are reserving your unit even after confirming multiple times by phone call.If you want to be satisfied with WHO you’re renting with AND the price you are paying, give Brian a visit at Self Storage Plus in Odenton!!!”

Not the NYC location's fault and definitely nothing to do with this location. In order to pay my bill I have to come to a location near me (Pasadena) to pay the bill. “The Extra Space in of Federal Hil on, 1900 S Charles St, Baltimore, MD is clean, safe and exceptionally well run. There is ample garage parking that is both heated and cooled and will accommodate all personal vehicles sizes and several sizes of moving trucks. This facility is also equipped with very large rolling doors that close to keep you secure and separate from the elements as you move your goods. Having stored at other storage facilities where only outdoor parking is available, I can attest that being able to leisurely move one's goods without worry of being rained on or the wind blowing items away or melting in the midday summers' Sun makes this location immediately worth storing at. Furthermore, the interior of the building is spotless and kept pest fee and the grounds are meticulously maintained. The manager of this property, Ms. Yvette is treasure trove of information. She is quite knowledgeable about Extra Space products, policies and procedures and can answer nearly any reasonable question one could ask about their company. Moreover, if she does not know the answer to your inquiry, I have first hand witnessed that she will go out the way to get that information swiftly and efficaciously. Also, both Ms. Yvette and the other employee at this location, Ronald, are kind, courteous and care about each and every person that stores with them. In fact, Ms. Yvette calls me and others by name and speaks politely every time she sees us. Indeed, this is a good and safe place to store your valuables and I DO trust this particular Extra Space with all my storage needs. I would definitely recommend storing with them.”

“We used the Hanover, MD location to help with our transition from our home to an apartment. We stored items that we did not want the movers to handle. Once in the apartment, we gradually brought out items from storage to our apartment. Eventually we moved from the 10' x 10' unit to a 5' x 10' unit. The items that remained we decided we no longer needed. We cleared out our unit and gave notice that we were moving out.Overall, we were happy with the Extra Space Storage in Hanover, MD. The facility was always clean. With their security, we always felt self when we were at the facility. Would recommend this facility to anyone needing Extra Storage Space.”

“Our house move was substantial, living in our original house for 30 years with family of 5. We got 3 estimates, all were in line but Moyer had a very big company feel to it versus the other two. Their estimate / interaction process was very professional with great office support, organized papers to sign, etc.The movers were great, handling everything with great care and worked very quickly. However, the estimate of the amount of time was not quite accurate and what was supposed to take ~8-10 hours took 14+ hours and probably should have been a two day versus one day move. Since the final move price is dictated by actual hours, we were naturally concerned and this was noted by the movers at the end of the day.The very next morning, we received a call from the owner, Jason Moyer himself. He apologized about the estimate error and told us he would make it right. He essentially dropped the price back down to the original estimate. What a class act of a business model to stand behind their quote.Then after the move we had to deal with some normal move damages and the mover insurance that we purchased. We dealt with Irvin Quinteros and he was super professional. Irvin was so thorough and took painstaking steps to research solutions and most importantly, he resolved all of our problems very quickly. He's also just a heck of nice person.Hope this review is helpful, picking a moving company is complicated and stressful.”
