Pretty disappointed with my experience with Uni-Tech. I recently had a bumper painted so I could replace it myself. The end product looks great but I am not happy with their estimating. Before I got the estimate I gave them my exact paint code which is a tri-color white paint so they knew it would be a bit difficult. Unfortunately, they screwed up the estimate they provided me and didnt include the extra cost/labor associated with the tri-color paint. When I went to pick up the bumper the final cost was 60% more expensive than the initial estimate. I realize that estimates are just that, estimates, but to screw up your estimate so much that it is 60% more expensive is unacceptable. Especially when you knew ahead of time that the paint would be more expensive. I voiced my displeasure and concerns about the cost difference but was offered no compensation. I was fine paying the increased cost of the additional paint/labor (~30% cost increase) in getting the color to match since it is a difficult color, but should have been discounted the cost of the tri-color paint difference since they screwed up the estimate. While the end product looks great, I don’t think I will use Uni-Tech again after this experience.”

“Can’t say enough good things. My car was slowly dying and losing power on my way to work. I made it back problems just in time before certain death. Newley’s staff checked me in promptly and even gave me a ride home. They diagnosed my car in only a couple hours - head to toe. They identified my alternator issue along with a few other maintenance issues. Their ranking/color coded results made it easy to prioritize my needs. Absolutely no hard sell on the rest - which was greatly appreciated. They fought my car back to me at home once the work was completed and checked up on me after a couple of days. Staff was very friendly and informative at every step and ready to answer any questions. Very reasonable rates. Manager Andy deserves a raise.”

“I ABSOLUTELY understand how they have almost five stars. I brought in a 1990 350SDL with a turbo that wasn't building boost. I was told $250ish for diagnosis and that's perfectly fair... People should be paid for their expertise.
Turned out to basically be what I thought it was, waste gate was stuck open and an easy fix.
What I didn't realize was that that diagnosis fee also included a thorough inspection of my old Benz. And I now have a list of all the things that need my attention over the next few months.

“We had a screw in a tire which we originally took to the dealership and they just looked at it and said they would have to replace our 2 year old tire. We took it to A Arundel and they pulled the screw out, saw that it was short and did not go all the way thru so they could plug it. They also checked all the other tires for screw and put air in them. They saved us a bundle. Great service.”

“My tahoe was run off the rd on 97 in pouring rain. After towing, insurance wanted to total it due to extensive body damage and airbags deploying. Caron and family at Gott treated me like family and worked with my insurance company to get my car like new again and in reasonable time. That was in May, and after driving it and checking things out, I could not be more pleased. They did an amazing job and kept me informed the entire time. Thanks, guys, for doing such great work. “What great service. I popped it w/o an appt to have them diagnose a metallic popping sound in the front end of my truck. They were booked solid out over a week. However, they told me if I could be here when they open in 2 days, they would look at it while I wait. They did, and it was only a loose track bar bolt, which they tightened to spec. Only wanted $20 for the 25 minutes I was there. Honest service. They could have made some story up and changed out parts that didn't need it. And they didn't charge an hour minimum diagnosis / labor charge. I'd heard they do great front-end work, so I will be happy to give them my business again when there really is an issue.”
