“Let's be honest, getting a bespoke, customized frame is not cheap. But Terrie has always done absolutely phenomenal work for my most-special pieces over the years that it's always worth every penny. She is so knowledgeable and so kind, and working closely with her to find just the right look for your frame is always so much fun. If you've got a special piece that deserves to be preserved and cherished for a long, long time, you can't go wrong with Fleckenstein's.”
“Amazing artwork and options to frame your own masterpiece. Top quality and service. Other galleries in Haverford, Bethesda and Harrods London. The Village of Cross Keys.”
“We commissioned Kristin to do a custom painting of a Maryland shore wetland scene after seeing the quality of her other artwork, and it was perfect. Really great people and easy to work with. And their shop is very nice and inviting!”
“More Than Fine Framing is the BEST. I’ve gone here for years and they do exceptional, breathtaking work. They are so talented and helpful and treat your pieces with care. They always help find the perfect mat & frame combos and offer really helpful advice. I couldn’t recommend them enough.”
“If the outside is this amazing and awesome, the inside must be even more amazing!!!! We strolled Mt. Washington and walked by Baltimore Clayworks. We are a family that loves to do pottery. We will be back to take a class!!!”
“I know zip about canvas wrapping, framing, etc and Michael took the time to walk me through the entire process. You can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. We talked for about 30 minutes or so and I really appreciated that. This will definitely be my go to place for any future wrapping or framing needs. And he's a big O's fan to boot! Thanks for taking the time to talk framing and baseball! What a great place!”
“This place is interesting. It has strong drinks that are at least $3 less than usual
Prices, and has a nice atmosphere. I wish it was more musically or dance oriented, but eh, it’s more experimental.”
“The shop is filled with beautiful & well crafted mosaic art and jewelry by proprietor Gail Rosen and artworks by others. Gail also sells a large selection of interesting and often visually stunning crystals, rocks, towers, fossils, and stone carvings.
I've bought many things from Andamento over the past year, including small mosaics, accent lamps, goddess figures, and gorgeous polished stones. And I just picked up from Gail a commission she made for me for a traditional yin/yang symbol made of black and white glass tesserae. I love it!”
“I used The Butler Gallery to frame a large family heirloom map of London. They did expert work and took great care of the piece. I would absolutely use them again for custom framing!”
“I purchased a piece that was framed by New Standard Frames over a decade ago. The care and craftsmanship that has held up over time with this frame is evident as I move around the artwork in my home quite often and it’s still in great shape.”
“Simple, Modern, And Fresh. I love this gallery. The artists that showcase here are always amazing & the artwork is always so moving. The woman at the front desk is helpful and has all of the info concerning the gallery, And what is being presented ( Price Point, Catalogues, Upcoming or Past show info) Perfect gallery for a day to yourself or a night with others.”
“We had a great time with the glass blowing workshop! Our instructor Anna was very patient, thorough, and made sure we walked away with some pieces that would memorialize our time spent learning! It was a fun anniversary activity and we picked up an ornament to remember it for years to come. Thank you for the time, experience, and memories!”
