“Little pricy but if you need paint brushes or rollers way excellent deals. Also found some seriously old light bulbs for a lamp my wife has, which I couldn't even buy online or Lowes or home Depot. That was awesome, stupid lamp hasn't worked since last summer. She was really excited to see it lit up again this evening”

“The Scottish Rite of Free Masonry broke ground in 1930 on their current building, on the corner of 39th and North Charles Streets, in the Guilford neighborhood of Baltimore. It is an imposing building that houses offices, meeting rooms, a library, and an auditorium. The auditorium will take your breath away; it is so striking. The stage is enormous and there is seating for 1065 guests. On the lower level is a large banquet hall that boasts one of the largest dance floors in the city. It also has two stages and has seating for 450 people. There is a fully equipped kitchen with everything a caterer would need. Also on the lower level is the Scottish Rite Childhood Speech & Language Center, which is a pediatric clinic committed to serving children with a wide range of speech and language impairments. On our first snow storm of the season, we attended their Thanksgiving Thursday lunch. It was delicious. It was so nice to see their Christmas Garden up as well as an extensive array of Nativity sets.”

“Moveable Feast was a huge help to a friend who'd had a stroke and to me (caregiver short on time). Access was fast, delivery was reliable, people were friendly, and the food was healthy and easy to cook. A nutrititionist called now and then to check in and answer questions. Thanks so much to everyone involved!!”

“Edit- upon further investigation, the issue was with NSC directly and not this agency. Jessica here has fixed the issues!I have been trying to get my BLS CPR Trainer certification since JUNE. I was approved by NSC at multiple levels to teach in JULY. I continually email, get bounced around, told new curriculum is coming out, etc. I even offered the buy the old curriculum knowing I would have to buy it again when it is renewed. Nothing. I have had dozens of people miss the opportunity to be CPR certified by me(which I have been wanting to do at no cost to my community), and a cardiac arrest AT MY OFFICE since I have been trying to get this program. You either do not want my money, or do not truly care about safety education to the public.”

“Went to this store to get a new Scouts uniform for my son. Can't say enough good things about this place, especially the generous help from the man running the store. He quickly pointed out the trousers and shorts that would probably fit my son and helped me find a belt. Very friendly and positive throughout. And it feels like they have everything there. They even have some camping equipment if you need it. The only slight drawback was that they don't have someone to sew patches at this time, although they do have adhesive if you want to do it that way. We will be back!”

“Our group just came back from a homeschool field trip. My first communication with them I was concerned that they would have been too rigid with their program or rules. But after today, I am mostly impressed with their organization and love for education. They were so accommodating and flexible in the whole process. Everyone enjoyed themselves. Would definitely recommend others to sign up for a field trip with them! Thank you Irvine Nature Center for a wonderful day!”

“Love this place so much. They are very good at firing things in the right spot depending on the glaze. Amazing instructors and community events. Just a top notch place to do ceramics. So so impressed. This is rare cause I have been to other studios in other states and they are not nearly as good or thriving as much as Baltimore clayworks ?”

“Before contacting NACA I searched other programs to educate me and help through the process of obtaining a home. I am currently working on completing all the requirements to become NACA qualified. The process has been very thorough; however, I am working with a great counselor who is very patient and knowledgeable. My questions are welcomed and answered in a timely manner. I am looking forward to purchasing my home with NACA. I know it is all worth the wait!”

“Everybody from the security team to the aides and nurses were absolutely wonderful and cordial. Their compassion and patience was unending. My mother's last two weeks of her life, while spent here at Gilchrist Hospice in Baltimore, were comfortable and serene. We couldn't have asked for a better hospice experience. My only grievance with Gilchrist was with the home care my mother received. We had a nurse who was wildly out of bounds in the beginning. The way she spoke to our family was completely inappropriate. I hope that it was dealt with internally after I made a complaint to the social worker who was in charge of my mother's file. The facility itself and the workers there were excellent though.”

“Our 13 year old just got back from a 8-day Chesapeake Bay Kayeking Expeditions and oh boy, he has become a lot tougher!!! Cadeau, Bex and Katie are beyond amazing! They called before camp starts, making sure we are traveling okay from San Francisco. My son had an amazing time with the group, made a lot of new friends and learned quite a few life lessons. Their Baltimore campus is beautiful! All staffs are friendly, helpful and resourceful. I can't say enough! We are very grateful! Can't wait to return!”

“My daughter is part of the Cool Kids Campaign program as she was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 22 months old. This organization offers a wide range of programs for children of all ages. Most importantly they have programs for kids beyond treatment. For example, they offer support programs ranging from tutoring, art therapy, nutrition, oncology parent support groups. Cool Kids offer so many opportunities to engage with their members but also for members to interacted with each other. Majority of the kids in the program are immunocompromised so they must limit the number of interactions they can have so they don't fall ill. Cool Kids offers virtual event as well as in person ones. I really love this organization! Here's a snip Cool Kids Campaign's about us page: Cool Kids Campaign programs focus on direct services for children and their families affected by a cancer diagnosis and the development of additional programs that will have a positive outcome on their lives, we recognize the need for continued growth. Our future goals include the opening of additional clubhouses, vacation and respites housing, an expanded tutoring program along with working to provide guidance and connection to other programs and organizations that support children with cancer.”

“I had the pleasure of speaking with Mary Stembler who was the woman in charge. She got me set up with everything I needed to do to be adopted for Christmas since we lost my husband and my daughters father! She gave me so much information on things they do and what they could help with! She is an amazing woman and we are blessed to have her in our corner helping us thru a most difficult time! There are no words I could say that shows just what she meant to us and what she has done for us! Thank you Mary, The Arc, and the company who adopted us for this unbelievable blessing! We are forever grateful ? ?❤?”
