“I recently applied for an auto loan through a local dealership. For whatever reason, the process became inordinately complicated.
I decided to find my own financing and applied for a loan with SECU. The pre-approval process was simple, the customer service rep I spoke with by phone was helpful, and going to the Towson branch to complete my membership application and close the loan was seamless.
Chelsea in particular was wonderfully helpful, answered all my questions, and ensured I had everything I needed to complete my loan purchase. What was taking the dealership’s bank weeks to resolve was completed in less than an hour at SECU. Now I don’t have to deal with the dealership’s back and forth and my car loan is squared away. Glad to be a new member of this local credit union.”
“I found Mario through the Harbel Community Organization. When I was going through my home buying preparation courses, he popped into the zoom meeting as one of the speakers! I found his mortgage/lending expertise really impressive and his personality was so warm and inviting. I started working with him in 2022 and finally purchased my first home a few weeks ago! He was always entirely on my side, building me up and acting as a teacher through the entire process. I had such a great experience working with him and his team and I'd recommend using Meridian over any other bank. Top notch, fun, experienced, wise and they really care about you and your future. Mario genuinely was looking out for me the entire time and was available when I was nervous, excited and confused to talk through making my home purchase happen haha hats off to him. Couldn't have gotten here without him.”
“I've had to come here several times in the past two months to deal with things in person because I couldn't figure out how to do them online. (Turns out, some things can't be done online.) So I was feeling a little intimidated because of that but the two gentlemen I dealt with were helpful and didn't make me feel bad about not being able to figure it out. The first time I came in, it was about 10 minutes until they were supposed to close. The guy who helped me took me to his office where he patiently answered my questions and helped solve my problems. An African American man that was at the front desk helped me and my daughter on another occasion and then helped my spouse just yesterday. Their website is clear and fairly easy to access (except those things that can't be done online). Most of all, they were professional and accessible.”

“Contrary to what may seem to be the majority. I can honestly say I received 5 star service. I spoke with a guy named Ethan Graham, and let’s just say he was exceptional. He not only helped solve my problem. But he also gave me pointers in regard to money and in general. Not to mention he squeezed me in last minute. He could’ve easily said ‘come back tomorrow’. Instead he didn’t, he rendered me assistance. The totality of it was seamless. This is my first ever google review. I hope this helps.”
