“I have been a regular customer of this convenience and smoke shop for over 2 years now, and I can honestly say that they are the best in town. The brothers and staff are always friendly, helpful, and courteous. They greet me by name, remember my preferences, and offer me discounts and freebies. They have a wide selection of products, from snacks and drinks to vaping supplies. The prices are reasonable and the quality is excellent. The store is clean, well-organized, and has a cozy atmosphere. I always feel welcome and comfortable here, like I am part of their family. This is more than just a convenience and smoke shop, it is a place where I can relax, chat, and enjoy myself. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great shopping experience. You will not be disappointed!”

“The perfect local market deli spot for fresh sandwiches, salads, and all the snacks. They also have a large selection of awesome beers and unique wines. Grab & go or relax inside or outside with the seating available - and you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer! They even do incredible catering - sandwich platters, brownie & cookies, and extravagant charcuterie boards. Great staff, great vibes.”

“This just became my new favorite sandwich spot…I would rate it 6 stars if I could! I got the Stadium sandwich on a sub roll and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Fresh bread, fresh ingredients, and super friendly employees make this a lovely gem in the Navy Yard area. Highly recommend!”

“Large selection of wine, beer, and liquors. Clean, organized place. Very nice and helpful customer service. Came in looking for something kind of obscure and they were able to help me out. Will be back more often for more regular purchases. This place is nice.”

“Really nice small, local grocery. They are like a local whole foods or foxtrot competitor but on a smaller level. They offer alot of trendy food items like high hydrogen water, lavendar popcorn (which was good), and much more. They also have a coffee bar and fresh food bar. I bought the chickpea chorizo which was super delicious but so small for the price. I wish they gave like a couple pieces of bread or toast or something. The bowl came with potato chunks, chickpea chorizo pieces (so flavorful), corn, the world's smallest egg, and arugula, and spices. So so good. Service was excellent too. And they gave dining space inside and out as well as plugs and wifi.Highly highly recommend!”

“I was looking for some fashion and coffee table-type magazines in foreign languages for a work-related event, and wasn’t able to find them anywhere, until someone recommended I check out The Newsroom on Connecticut Ave NW in DuPont Circle. It was great! I bought 3 Vogues (French, German, and Italian), a People magazine (Spanish), and a few other fashion magazines. These will be great for our office’s fun activities related to learning/studying foreign languages. The owners were super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!”

“Small but covenient Indian grocery store! They're in a busy shopping center next door to Hip Hop chicken. My mom put me onto their mangoes and indeed they are sweet and definitely worth it. They don't always have them, but when they do, I am happy. Their hours online aren't consistent so call ahead if possible. They have other fruits, spices and snacks.”

“This hole-in-the-wall market is nearby and carries most things. The cashier (store owner?) is always so nice and helpful. Last time I was here, I grabbed a single corndog, a mini bottle of wine, and a bag of chips. Totaled about $11. Love this place. Oh, and if you’re into beer and wine, this place has plenty of it!”

“I am just reviewing the food. It was really nice. The servers don't really speak English but I was able to point and gesticulate what I thought looked nice. The shrimp in the creamy soup was delicious and so was the rice and plantains. I went back twice. It was 16.25 for a very large serve of food. I had some leftover for dinner. If you're looking for great takeout, come here.”

“This place is a great mini variety store in a food desert. Sometimes they even have fresh fruits. They have so much stuff it's amazing. Everything from food to hair products to kitchen and garden products to smoke products. You can easily buy birthday gifts here too. It's a one stop shop. And the people who work there are always so kind.”

“I've been here a couple times. It's a small place with great service. The deli is excellent. I recommend the Reuben with no modifications. On one occasion, my card was unexpectedly declined; the cashier was very gracious and took care of the next customer at the second register while I sorted out the issue, so I didn't suffer any further embarrassment OR hold up the line. I really appreciate that level of service.”

“Very busy location at midnight on a saturday, but at least they actually have food here and the staff had me in and out in less than 10 minutes despite at least being 15 orders in front of mineOne star off because she didn't wrap the sandwich properly and half my cheese is stuck to the paper”
