“The staff was very friendly, from making a donation to making a purchase. The merchandise is organized by type, making it easy to shop. Some of the prices were high for items that are donated to the store. For example, a punch bowl was $19.99. People don't go to thrift stores to spend that kind of money.”
“An amazing store with a wide variety of pieces and sizes. The owner, Zakiya Shivers, has impeccable and discerning taste in the items she selects for her shop— a great mixture of bohemian, African, and vintage apparel, shoes and accessories. The inventory changes all the time as, in addition to her own selections, “Ms. Tightfisted” regularly invites local artists to display and vend their own goods and frequently hosts special events for such occasions. As a result, Tightfisted Fashion has a genuine, down to earth community vibe. If you are in Baltimore and looking for beautiful and unique pieces to add to your collection, this store is not to be missed!”
“I often find something great at NESAP. I don't go all the time, but when I do; I often find something. I never know what I'm going to find (which is how thrifting goes) but NESAP is definitely worth a stop.”
“Go here! Not only is everything top quality but the people that work there are the best! I went in looking for a dress to wear to my son's wedding and the ladies went out of their way to help me find the perfect dress. It is brand new with tags and was less than twenty dollars!
Go here and spend your money!
Highly recommend.”
