“Great idea well executed! This place is awesome for artists, makers, and crafters. If you paint, sew, draw, knit--create in some form--you can find good, used materials and tools to help you either get started or keep going. Lots of stock and great prices. Friendly, professional staff to assist. Definitely fun to visit... especially if you like to hunt for and snag cool things or useful items.”
“Pretty cool selection with wildly varying prices. Some things will cost less than you expect and some will cost far more than you could afford. Quite confusing honestly but in general really nice selection for people from home owners to someone looking to furnish an apartment. Also has a large reclaimed lumber section with old growth etc. Prices vary again but pretty massive selection. If you have cash to spend on interesting finds, really cool place with decent parking”
“Im posting this review to tell everyone how naca has helped me so far. Im only on step 2 but my counselor Ms. Romelle Clinton has been very patient with me, with getting all my paperwork in, and answering all my questions to make it understandable, so the process will be easy for me”
“Amazing place for people of all ages. We come to see frogs, goats, chickens and owls. The inside room is perfect for kids with scavenger hunt sheets and activities”

“They gave me space, tools, and materials and walked me through the repair. They caught an issue with my aluminum fork and offered a carbon fiber fork for very little. Baltimore needs more places like them.
Highly recommend.”
“I adopted my dog Shenzi from Small Miracles nearly a decade ago, and I will forever be grateful for bringing us together. From the moment I saw her, I knew she was meant to be mine. Over the years, she has been the most loving, easygoing, perfect companion I could have ever asked for. Thank you for giving dogs like Shenzi a second chance and families like mine a best friend for life.”
“This is a great place of encouragement and discovery...its tucked away in our south-west Baltimore, a home away from home. G.e.d and tutors, yoga, acupuncture, health and fitness, Art, and enlightenment. Best of all, the staff are family oriented❤️”
“I visited yesterday and Ian was very helpful! Made great recommendations and made sure I signed up for the rewards program, which I appreciated. This was my first time at a store like this and this place has A LOT of variety. I’ll definitely be returning in the future.”
“Mrs. Ligon has assembled a wonderful collection of African art and has deep knowledge of the pieces. Definitely recommend a visit to soak up the wisdom of Mrs. Ligon and view the beautiful pieces of art.”

“The gym has new, well maintained equipment - something for everyone. The director of fitness has put together a terrific group exercise program. All of the instructors are so knowledgeable and encouraging. I look forward to a variety of fitness classes every weekday morning and highly recommend the quarterly fitness pass - both in person and virtual.”
“RAM has been helpful when I've called asking for different resources. They've put me in touch with contacts that have been able to answer my questions. I also appreciate the industry updates keeping us informed”
“Found the Irvine Nature Center while looking for something fun to do. So glad we found it! This is a must for anyone it is great for kids too. There are so many things to see and explore. It is definitely an educational experience for both the novice and pro outsider! There are lots of trails, through the woods, meadows and wetlands. You never know what you will find. Make sure to visit the aviary and see the birds of prey. We will definitely be back! The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.”
“Sign up for your family and get free books! We got here about once a month and come home with about 15 books per child. Well-managed and organized. You can donate books here, and that will give you a receipt. Some of the more valuable they will sell on Amazon.”
“It was a very cool music and arts night. Local artists came together and put on a show in hip hop and visual arts and merchandise. The room was set the stage was lit the drinks were flowing and the artists were performing. Highly recommended if your into music hip hop pop and overall good energy and a great vibe after dark ????”
“Great place as a nonprofit when you need tools for reduce rental rate and everything is by appointment that can be inconvenient, but staff us helpful and friendly”
“They are a true gem in our community! Not only do they provide top-notch Russian language and cultural education, but they also offer a wide range of additional language options and engaging activities. The staff is incredibly professional, welcoming, and understanding, creating a warm and supportive environment for learners. Highly recommend!””
“New building is an almost exact replica of Lubavitch World Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, NY. This is, if I’m not mistaken, the 33rd replica of 770 to be built.”
“My mother wanted to visit this location. So, I definitely was not going to miss out on a little adventure. We went Saturday the 11th on what was a beautiful day.
The location was nothing like I remember from the mid 90's. The creepy factor is gone. The county has done an outstanding job on it's preservation. My mom and I enjoyed the location and the views. I definitely recommend you coming out. Then check out Main Street.”
“Great fellowship. Super friendly. Excellent opportunities to work with others to help improve the world. Wonderful charitable works. Great food. I love the Orient of Maryland and the Valley of Baltimore.”
“Catch-a-Lift didn’t just provide me with home gym equipment; they gave me a lifeline. After my medical retirement, I felt like I had lost my mission and my physical edge. CAL stepped in and provided the structure I was missing. The physical transformation has been great, but the mental clarity is the real gift. Having a physical outlet for my stress and a community that understands my background has pulled me out of some dark places. Since joining CAL I have lost 40 pounds, and kept it off. Their wholistic approach to fitness has really been a great help in my journey. I am stronger, more focused, and finally feel like I’m back in the driver's seat of my own life.”
“If the outside is this amazing and awesome, the inside must be even more amazing!!!! We strolled Mt. Washington and walked by Baltimore Clayworks. We are a family that loves to do pottery. We will be back to take a class!!!”
“Love meetings here, everyone is very kind. Just wish in the website it would have said no 6am meeting today July 4th so I didnt wait here doing nothing for a spell”
“My family and I had an excellent experience at ReStore with Cherrie helping us. She was so kind and knowledgeable. She made the experience quick and easy and she was so sweet to my nonverbal daughter. I will definitely shop there again.”

“Stopped by today: sign on door that says temporary closed until 5/27/25. Moving to 701 Wyman Park Dr, which is nearby. Hope this helps others figure out why no one answers the phone.”
“Center for Urban Families is a place that embraces you like Family as soon as you walk into the door. The resources inside those walls are life changing. It will take consistency, effort, and determination by the individual to fully take advantage of all the benefits of the Center. They will definitely help you become the best person you can be. I love CFUF.”
“I bought a toilet (brand new) for $25 and a refrigerator for about $300. Appliances these days don't last like they used to and I'm always happy to buy replacements second hand whenever possible. I like that they are willing to take returns if you get it home and it doesn't work.”
“Edit- upon further investigation, the issue was with NSC directly and not this agency. Jessica here has fixed the issues!I have been trying to get my BLS CPR Trainer certification since JUNE. I was approved by NSC at multiple levels to teach in JULY. I continually email, get bounced around, told new curriculum is coming out, etc. I even offered the buy the old curriculum knowing I would have to buy it again when it is renewed. Nothing. I have had dozens of people miss the opportunity to be CPR certified by me(which I have been wanting to do at no cost to my community), and a cardiac arrest AT MY OFFICE since I have been trying to get this program. You either do not want my money, or do not truly care about safety education to the public.”
