“Clean, well organized, helpful staff, quality products, it’s what I nostalgically remember what a hardware store should be.I usually pass by the big box stores to frequent Clark’s when I need something for the house or the yard. Expectations have to be realistic, they don’t have the variety of the larger stores but they generally have what I need and the prices are competitive.Big pluses….they actually fill propane tanks, they sell high end tool and outdoor cooking brands, the hardware section is organized and easy to find the right sizes, and the staff know what they are talking about.Spread the word to support locally owned businesses that are well run!”
“This lil shop is spot on every go! So many fun things to find from jewelry to skincare, houseware to fun kid-fare. I found this lamp (coral in photo) that hit the spot for my Baltimore decor. Always so grateful for Leslie's eye selling fab things in her shop. And Vanessa working at there is super fun too!”

“I have purchased a few rugs from Main Street Oriental Rugs in the last decade. I recently needed a rug for a sitting area space. The staff was very accomodating and helpful and patient as I tried to find just the right rug to fit my space as well as my specific taste. Their customer service is superb as well as their extensive knowledge of Persian Rugs. If you want personal service with huge selection of rugs, then come here! You will not be disappointed!”

“I visited the shop on 6/18/2023 and thought I had posted a review.Today I wore a pair of earrings I purchased from the store and they are GORGEOUS and great quality.What an amazing experience I had during my visit...the owners are super personable and knowledgeable. They gave me a one on one tour and history of many of the items.I purchased beautiful canvas, earrings, ring and Kuba cloth. I can't wait to visit again and HIGHLY recommend you visit Sankofa and/or an event they are hosting.”

“In town for a concert and stopped by this neighborhood for food and stumbled on this shop. Friendly shop owner and cute, neatly curated selection of items. Some great Baltimore items and lots of fun, smile making items. I picked out a funny dish towel and toothbrush, and my daughter found a great clear purse that was exactly what we needed to take into the concert that night. If you're in the area absolutely worth a stop!”

“Service was good and prices very good especially for clothing. Not the best place for shoes though. Also, the lines move a bit slow so adjust your time accordingly. On the flipside, , there's ample parking and the building is ADA compliant.”
