Owner was very kind and incredibly knowledgeable- I loved that he knew where every single animal and plant came from, and he worked with local breeders. A great place to support your community! And some pretty neat little finds you don't get at box stores.”

“Dog grooming is quick, easy, and cheap. Someone always picks up the phone or returns a voicemail very rapidly. Store offers a wide selection of products at competitive prices. Quality of service and products far outweigh chains like petco and pet smart. They have our business indefinitely.”
“I have volunteered as a dog walker at Buddy Dog for the last few months and I have the highest respect for this organization. The people who work there seem incredibly dedicated and thoughtful about the animals. I am impressed by their continuing and mindful care of animals that are less likely to be adopted because of age or breed. It is a well lived-in space and the staff seek opportunities to give the shelter animals opportunities to safely and comfortably come out of cages as much as possible. I think all of the staff work long hours and have made a long term commitment to this organization which speaks volumes about Buddy Dog. I have a rescue at home who is not good with other dogs or I would likely have adopted many, many of their fine pups by now. I recommend Buddy Dog highly.”
“Just went for the first time this afternoon when I realized we were completely out of dog food. I have it auto-shipped from an online source since the place we used before closed. I'm going to go back to in person shopping! Price at Pet Supplies Plus was comparable, and they told me after I bought an amount one bag was free - I think it was the 13th that was free. Very cool! Got to look at and pick out some treats and toys and pet some dogs. They also helped me to my car -- especially helpful since I had my busy toddler with me.”
“Staff is always really helpful and friendly! the animals always look happy and my daughter loves to see the fish whenever I bring her in. This store is definitely my go to store for pet supplies.My only complaint is whenever I go to check out, no matter what cashier is there, they try to sell me the premier membership. Even if I've told them no thanks before, they try to sell me it again. I don't know why they're so pushy but it's gotten to the point that I don't even like making conversation with the cashier's anymore because I know they're going to try to upsell me.”
“What a fun place to spend time on a wintry morning! My son promised me great bagels and croissant sandwiches, spot on. Live music, cheese, mushrooms, maple wine, pasties, plus 4 food trucks (canolis were awesome!). This is unlike any garden center I know!”
“I bought my very first Betta fish about 6 weeks ago at a different location. Since then I've been sampling other local pet shops, learning by browsing the isles to see what is out there for small aquariums. The other day I visited this location and WOW do they have a lot of fish supplies! Almost everything I have seen online! What I really liked was the selection of small live plants, way more that the other location I visit. Their selection of live Betta was also pretty good, considering they temporarily live in little containers. The store was clean and not stinky at all. Their parakeets were very active and chatty. Staff was so-so, but I didn't interact with them much. The parking lot is a nightmare, but that isn't their fault. Just keep a sharp eye out while navigating the lot...”

“My boyfriend brought our dog here for grooming and the groomer was amazing. She explained to us how our dogs coat grows and what would work best for her when it comes to brushing. The haircut came out perfect and we couldn't have asked for a better groomer who takes the time to explains things and keeps us upgraded during the groom! Kelley did amazing”

“Just took our newly adopted dog here to get updated on all her vaccines as our vet is very backed up. I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews because our experience was fantastic. The 2 staff that checked us in were very thorough. They checked over all of her medical paperwork from her adoption and explained options. I told her we had a vet appointment in 3 weeks and she gave me the option to have her boosters for the vaccines with our vet or to come back to Vetco. There was no pressure either way. Once we saw the vet she provided an exam and explained everything. I felt the process was easy and the staff were all very professional. I think this is a great alternative for anyone having a tough time getting an appointment with their local vet or looking for affordable vaccines for their pet”
