“They had my package for me like the paper said. It's a original landmark of the area and the employees are very nice and always handle my requests well above and beyond my expectations! I'd much rather do my postal business at this great little location than at most of the other local post offices in the area. Have a blessed day!”
“I called Eric at Ludlow Post Office, he was tremendously helpful in explaining and tracking a package. He was knowledgeable, professional, and kind. It’s the best experience I’ve had at a post office.”
“The staff at this Post Office are always professional and friendly, even the trainees. They helped me navigate the Passport process due to the Covid restrictions with ease. I actually go out of my way to go there.”
“I had great experiences at this USPS in Holyoke. The lobby is clean. The people there are very friendly and helpful. The clerk Cathy helped me fill the mailing label when I sent international packages. She also patiently explained what's the significance of having a signature from the receiver when I went there to mail important documents.
By the way, the people in the office know how to do prepaid mails.”
“I never write reviews but I literally travel almost 20min from my house to this post office even though I have a post office 1 min from my home just because the staff here is amazing!! Love to come here, they make everything a breeze!”
“Very well-kept post office with friendly and knowledgable staff. It was my first time renewing a passport by mail and I wasn't sure what to do. The clerk not only helped me with my passport photo, but checked to make sure my documents were in order and mailed the application out for me. That kind of attentive service is hard to find these days.”
“Best Post Office in Holyoke!! The staff is nothing but kind and helpful! Best in the area! I dislike going to any of the other ones nearby! They will ALWAYS get my business! Love you guys!”
“Busy place. Almost always a line.
I wish they would give the people getting passports clear instructions that they can walk away with, fill out the form, then come back to the counter instead of standing there clogging up the line and every time I hear the same thing “you have to fill everything out, yup you need to fill that out too” idk how a stranger needs to assist you in writing your personal information, it shouldn’t be that difficult. Otherwise the line seems to move quickly.”
“I have utilized this location daily for 27 years! Each and every employee from Christine( now retired), Jose, Maria, Destiny, Alex and others have always been extremely cordial and helpful. This includes their ability to assist in mailing locally, nationally and internationally. Always quick efficient and professional to make sure my items are mailed properly. Many customers who I have seen that seem in a rush or short on time are always helped with an explanation of what to expect on delivery times. Every staff member is top notch in my book.”
“Needed a passport renewal mailing. The clerk advised me as to different ways to mail. She was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Unfortunately I neglected to get her name.”
“I use this post office often and think the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is convenient and is usually clean. I always wear my mask and have never had any issues here.”
“The staff and front desk clerk's are always friendly and very patient. The parkinglot has also been updated for more room and space. Great job guys keep up the good work.”
“Love this post office! Staff is always courteous, patient, and friendly. Yes, sometimes the lines are long, especially around holidays and lunch times, but it gives you time to chat to other people waiting in line with you. I’ve been to other post offices in the Springfield area and always come back here.”
“I went in to look for service, there were three people before me. Very attentive, optimal and fast service. If you go on pay days you have to wait longer but no more than 20 minutes in line.”

“I am not from local but I had a package ship from nj to this post office has lost in transit back in February. Today a guy named Marie Quinn called me and let me know he tracked down the package and now is going to deliver to the guy in town. I told him I need package route back to me because the buyer doesn’t needed anymore it was for Valentine’s Day I had already refunded him so Marie ran to the facility looking for the mail carrier got the package wrote reject and package will come back to me. I really appreciate nowadays post office worker like him works so hard thinking about customers not themselves. This will never happens in my local post office 07090 they don’t even give you a receipt has tracking on it they ask you get it done yourself with kiosks. I really wish everyone works at post office like Marie Quinn.
Thank you.”
“Writing this as I just sent a package today but will update if anything changes.Contrary to other reviews, the staff were extremely nice to me and others around me. I talked to 3 people which consisted of a younger gentleman, the older man and the older woman which were all very helpful and quick with me. I didn't feel like they were racist to me at all and same with the other Hispanic guys that were in front of me as well. I dropped the package off at 5PM and by 7PM it departed the store and USPS was in possession of the item.It seems they are improving their business but the only con that remains is that it's cash only. Otherwise they were good to me.”
“4 stars because it isn't the working-man USPS in the trenches that makes the system laughable, but the overpaid honchos in charge.
Overpaid, I said what I said. Doesn't take much to oversee operations are a disaster from the top down, especially at this location.
Hopefully retirement comes sooner rather than later for some folks there, and a new generation of faces that care will take the helm, ones that at least sort of care.
Finally, I have an entire family of postal workers, don't tell me I don't know how you people operate. ?”
“Staff at desk was very willing to help me send back a package.
I had the wrong return label. (It was an example what a return label looks like). Instead of jumping on the stupid move I made he was calm and explained everything.
This is why the work for the post office, they know what they are doing.
I rushed back the next day with the correct label. He put it on there with respect. Your all set!”
