“You can’t just go here once, inventory is always stocked, so much to see, and a lot of fun going back in time. Store is always clean and organized, staff and owner are really great people!”
“i came to get a build a bear for my friends birthday and she loves heated rivalry so i wanted to put the im coming to the cottage audio (no foul language or bad words) so i did and one of the workers seemed annoyed which okay i get other people may troll them at times but when she checked me out she just left the bear clothes and box separate and didn’t pack it up. like i didn’t even get the certificate. which when i was a kid was my favorite part. but then a worker named lin offered to put on the clothes and box it up for me and she was SO SWEET. honestly give this girl a raise please. i didn’t end up getting a certificate but i don’t mind that much. the reason for the four stars is LIN she was the best and i would’ve had a bad experience if other wise. maybe the other girl js had a bad day”
“Friday night, I thought I had traveled back in time to the early nineties and walked into the Barnes and Noble where I had bought my first book as a 12-year old in Burlington, MA. Classical music was playing. The books on the display tables were normal?? The staff was friendly and helpful. Even the layout of the store felt strangely familiar. I bought books. I sat in the cafe and drank tea. I finally signed up for B&N Rewards, something I have resisted doing for decades.
It was a nostalgic experience, and I will be returning very soon.”
“Great little spot full of really cool and unique gift ideas, I find myself here often when I'm on Market St. sometimes it's something in the window that draws me in, other times it's just curiosity but this place never seems to disappoint. Worth a visit if you have the time and worth making the time for if you don't.”
“Great going here, mainly cause I went with my friend named Josh and made a fool of both of us. The staff are nice and friendly, though like most teenagers/ young adults they did kinda seem a little tired, but that's ok, working a job in a toy store can tend to be stressful at times. Always love stopping in every now and then!”
“I dont like it when it get too hard. That happens when its really cold. But I do enjoy squishing it over and over again. And I like how there is different colors, sizes and shapes.”
“This charming little toy store is a true gem! Walking through the doors instantly brings back childhood memories, with shelves packed full of toys, games, and unique gifts for all ages. The customer service is great—friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making your shopping experience special. The gift-wrapping option is the perfect finishing touch, making gift-giving easy and stress-free. A wonderful place to visit and rediscover a little small shop toy store nostalgia!”
