“I bought my house 4 years ago. I priced out insurance with my current agent and Otis Brown. They were $70 a year cheaper and I felt a little guilty but changed agents to Otis Brown. Recently, I had a problem with a my exiting sewer pipe cracking. This will require about $5000 worth or work with the plumber and landscaper who has to dig up the patio the pipe runs thru. When the insurance adjuster came out this week he mentioned that the coverage I have includes some sort of rider that covers "service line coverage" It costs $35 a year and not all insurance companies offer it, it was not something I specifically asked for but because I went thru Otis Brown they put it on my policy and it's going to save me $5000 out of my pocket. I am SO grateful for them and their excellent service.”

I came in on one of the most awful days of my life (unbeknownst to the staff, of course) to re-register my dying mother's car under my name. There was an error or my insurance paperwork that was going to prevent me from being able to complete the transaction. When Joanne realized what had happened, she could have turned me away and had that be the end of it. But she quietly sent me over to the waiting area so I could call the insurance company and have them send her the revised version which she told me she would print out for me. Once that was done, Emi swiftly got me registered and on my way. Though these two never had any idea what I was dealing with, their kindness was day-altering. In a culture of valuing efficiency over empathy, I am so grateful these two took a little extra time with me. I hope the company takes note.”
