“Adams is top notch!! Staff, management and product have always been top notch. To the lady who posted about the store being closed when she got there after closing: They agreed ahead of time to allow you in at the time they close at 5pm because they knew you were coming a distance. Which is by itself a courteous gesture. And then you show up at 5:02 with no phone call letting them know you'll be later and they're closed. Then you rant about how inconvenienced you were and that they lost a customer. First of all, they didn't lose a customer...they lost a headache. Your absence is their aspirin. There's always your type who isn't happy unless the world works around only you. I work in customer service and understand how important it is to go the extra mile....and Adams Farm did. In the future respect everyone's time and leave sooner or go somewhere else”

“We have shopped at Market Basket Athol every week on Wednesday morning for the past several years, and travel 1/2 hour each way to do so because the values are so great. But two of the departments that require direct customer service, the deli/seafood dept and the prepared foods at the cafe (we often get lunch at the end) had really degenerated in the past few months. Service in both departments had gotten inattentive, slow and sometimes even rude. The quality of the prepared foods had gotten uneven and sometimes poor (sloppily made subs, overcooked chicken tenders, foods not available). But this past Wednesday there were new people manning these two areas, and our experience was very positive. Workers were quick, cheerful, energetic, and very courteous and competent.. It seemed there has been a shake-up in staffing, which positively affected our experience. And even our check-out experience was better than before, with new, more competent checkers and baggers. We hope these changes will continue! Shout out especially to the person who made our meatball sub, she was genuinely responsive, competent and upbeat, and I thanked her for that!! When you pair good value with great customer service, that’s a win in my book! Keep up the good work! (Note that not all of the “older” workers were lacking, and we saw that they were still onboard)”

“Love this local spot! The guest service is top-notch, the music is great, and they've got a healthy selection from local growers. Really appreciate the community vibe!!”

“Travellers, nana’s country store is a hidden gem up in north orange. It is behind the boiler grille, which a review for another day. While there aren’t many breakfast restaurants in the north quabbin area, nana’s is a wonderful surprise. When you walk in the smell is delicious. And the coffee is very good too. They have a wonderful breakfast and lunch menu but they have some wonderful items on their breakfast menu. The sausage gravy is homemade. The portions are huge and the food is perfectly cooked. There are other things there too because it is a store. So it has many items and a wonderful baked goods section. If you want an off the beaten path through beautiful north quabbin go to nana’s. Check it out. We recommend.”

“This was a great experience. The staff here were very friendly and professional. They had a wide selection of spirits. Parking was convenient with plenty of spaces out front. I am looking forward to going back again soon.”

“Been going here since 1985, back when it was called Shop 'n Save (a long defunct New England grocery store chain). I miss the free cookie jar and the rows of hundreds and hundreds of VHS rentals, but still a great grocery store. Tapes are coming back.. Hannaford should jump on that, just saying.”

“Several bays are available for gasoline and a couple separate bays for diesel. It has a convenience store where cash can be prepaid for gas. You can point out the window to show which bay or read the number.”
