“Kind of strange to be writing a review for the post office, but after reading the bad reviews for the Dedham post office, I went ahead and made my way to the Westwood post office.
I thought the woman behind the counter was extremely patient as I tried to figure out the best way to send my three different tax-related documents -– some that needed certified with return receipt, others that did not. Apparently the type of envelope that you buy can determine the way it’s mailed, and some envelopes end up costing more than others because of that.
In the end, I was able to get everything mailed, get the return receipts I needed, and she never made me feel rushed or stupid. It was also five minutes before closing time, so I give her a lot of kudos for that too.”
“This is my favorite Post Office I've been to in the whole country. I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes in line, I'm often the only customer, the staff are always friendly, and there's plenty of parking nearby. That's everything I need.”

“Wish I could give 10 stars to the Roslindale Post office. I was putting together a retirement for my boss that was due at noon. I was waiting on 3 more envelopes that my colleagues had put in the mail the week before that I anticipated were most likely in the carriers bag out for delivery. At 10:30am I called the PO and April answered the phone. I offered to meet the carrier wherever he was to grab the envelope since my afternoon mail delivery would mean I could not finish putting the gift together. April went above and beyond and found the carrier and within 30 minutes the two envelopes were dropped in my box and she called to confirm they had been received. In 93° weather, I tried to run out to give the carrier a cold Gatorade, but he was already gone before I could get there. Both April and the mail carrier went out of their way to save the day so that we could complete the gift for my boss. A+++++++”

“I have always experienced exceptional service at this post office! The clerks are friendly, knowledgeable and very nice. Karla is outstanding. And there was a gentleman who saw me crossing the parking lot after 5:00 --he was outside on a quick break--and let me know they had just closed. (I had lost track of time). I turned to leave, and then he offered to take my packages anyhow as they were pre-paid. !!! So helpful and nice!”

“I had an excellent experience with Juan today. I don’t mail things often, so I fumbled through the questions on the screen and made a few mistakes, Juan was very patient with me and kind in explaining the process.I even went back in line because I was so nervous I messed up something up and wanted to see the box again, and he let me assess my box and didn’t seem to mind even though it was the end of the day and near closing time. “This location has absolutely the best USPS team in the Greater Boston area. I've visited USPS locations all over the region & I stop at the Day St. location a few times a week. The staff here has been consistently friendly and knowledgeable over the years even when it can get busy, they do their best to keep customers smiling. I some needed extra help today and Roselynn was incredibly patient and thorough, she even called customer service to help me track down the answer I needed from HQ. I also really appreciate the drop-off window at this location so I can pre-pay my packages and not have to wait in line. Please be nice to the staff if you go here, I see how much they deal with in a day in this busy square & they are some really amazing folks!”

“The reviews are probably based more on bad experiences on the delivery end. This office is straightforward and gets the job done. I wish USPS would invest and probably spruce up the place, similar to newer facilities I see in other areas of the country. This would probably make the space more inviting for staff and customers.Overall, I use USPS more than the other services. Prices in most cases are better and get to well traveled locations relatively quickly.”
