They even followed up after with a written summary of our appt and prepared thoroughly reviewing our dogs history before we met. I am extremely satisfied with the thoroughness and the time the doctor spent with us and didn’t feel rushed at all. “I've loved my time with Heal Vet and Dr. Keen! Knocked off one star because my dog was pawing at his eye recently, and the earliest appointment for him to be seen was 2 weeks after. Because it was his eye, we obviously couldn't wait that long. I was very surprised to hear how booked they were-- when we first came to Heal, we usually got appointments in within the week or days, even. Just something to consider (maybe August is a busy month?) With that said, I would continue with this practice if I were not moving out of state. Dr. Keen and the vet techs had been awesome. The rooms have little couches and exams were done on the floor for my anxious dog. Otis very much appreciated it!”

They have been so compassionate and helpful throughout this whole process. They've taken such good care of our boy, and also been so, so kind to us while we've been on the emotional roller coaster that is dealing with a sick pet. Dr. Langer unfortunately had to give us some bad news, but she was so gracious, sympathetic, and patient while answering all of our questions and making sure we understood all of the information and next steps. One of my dogs just had an emergency and they were amazing. We called 15 minutes before close and they still told us to come in. They got to my dog right away and immediately went into action sedating her and taking care of her with such skill and compassion. The entire team that supports Dr P was exceptional from check in to check out. Charlotte was so well taken care of as was I and my daughter. I am so grateful for having such an amazing local resource without having to drive to Woburn to the emergency referral hospital.

Katie helped my mom and I find the perfect dog who completes our family; we had a wonderful experience. She was super thorough during the interview by asking my mom exactly what she is looking for and showing us potential matches. She kindly let us take our time with each potential match to make our decision. After we decided on our puppy, Katie took the time to explain to my mom lots of helpful information on how to care for a puppy (as it had been a while since she’s taken care of a puppy!). “Commonwealth is the truly the best vet. They were always amazingly accommodating, knowledgeable, communicative, and caring for our dog for the 6 years we lived in Boston.
Having recently moved to Manhattan, we visited multiple vets in NYC about a mass on our dog's back. After biopsies of some smaller lumps, we were told that this larger mass was just another lipoma and did not need biopsy. Concerned about it still, we returned to Commonwealth and we are so glad we did. Dr. Lieberman biopsied the mass the same day, gave us an answer that it was concerning for cancer, and referred us to an appropriate specialist who fit us in to be seen the next day.
Our family cannot express how much we've appreciated the expertise and thoughtful care we've experienced at Commonwealth over the last 8 years. All of their staff are simply amazing.”
