196 W Main St, AyerOur cat was dying and because we missed the last appointment with our original vet, they would not see him. We contacted Ayer Animal Medical Center, got an appointment the next day. I was EXTREMELY pleased with the staff from the check in to the our leaving. The staff lets you grieve at our own pace. They explained the process to us. And then let us be with our cat. Our final time together with him was not rushed. They are extremely caring, and very helpful. Wonderful people!

Ruby donut shop
210 W Main St, AyerStopped in after driving by many times. Stopping at a Dunkin’s should be a crime when shops with this level of quality food exist nearby. The donuts were fantastic. Definitely be stopping back soon!

Osawa Japanese Bistro
9 Main St, AyerThis was our first time here. We sat at the bar with friends who recommended we try the restaurant. We started with salt and pepper wings which were good. I ordered Massamam Curry with chicken. I asked for broccoli to be added and Christy the bartender suggested I get the Massaman vegetable curry and add chicken. Excellent suggestion!! It was very very good. Unfortunately, I now have a dilemma. When I go back I don't know whether to try something new or order the curry again. It was that good! Back to Christy. She never stopped behind the bar. Any restaurant would be thrilled to have her. Not only was she multitasking like a champ, she answered all our questions about the food as if she prepared it herself. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I'll definitely be going back and I recommend you give Osawa a try if you haven't been there yet.
