“Service Like Nowhere Else: I needed a part for my obsolete Weber grill that belonged to my late father in law. Kevin Button located the obsolete part for me and even explained exactly how to install it properly. Installed right and the grill fires like a champ!
Customer for over 40 years-but Kevin did not know that. He was just doing what they all do there-treating every customer like they are important.

“Since we lived in Firestone Park in the 90s, I almost always go to this Ace Hardware. But about a year ago when I needed some screws that would go into concrete, I was in the Falls and stopped into Menards "to save time". The customer service representative was eager please but had zero knowledge about what I was asking or where to find that type of screw. We wasted at least 20 minutes.So I left straight from there and came to Ace hardware in Firestone Park, and they knew exactly what I needed and suggested a drill bit that ended up being perfect for my needs.They have always been highly knowledgeable, helpful, and the prices are great.Don't waste your time anywhere else ?”
“Ace is a hardware store. It has tools, paint, silverware, snacks, lawnmowers, weedwackers etc. It is pretty cheap and has alot of different supplies. After buying something you can get a balloon. It is pretty good and it has nice staff”
“Great company, highly recommend! We've had our snowblower and lawnmower repaired by them for many years. They have a pickup and delivery service, which is extremely helpful. Recently they fixed our snowblower for a very reduced price when it didn't work at the beginning of this winter, after having been serviced by them at the end of last winter, which we hugely appreciated.”

“Let’s face it, hardware is hardware, but great service is another thing! I go to Hillside for their extremely knowledgeable, attentive and friendly employees, that and the bitchin’ antique radio playing cool jazz! I live close enough to three other similar stores (2 are Ace & arguably more convenient) but I chose to go to Hillside because Tom, the manager & Jerry, the owner (no cartoon jokes!!) take the time to help me sort out what I need for projects and products. And when I’ve had to return items, I’ve never had to justify myself. The whole staff carries the same helpful, relaxed attitude and it’s obvious that’s something that’s instilled from the top down! Harder to find these days than a left-handed smoke shifter! (You’ll find one in Aisle 2 in the plumbing section in the basement BTW)”

“Ace Hardware is my go-to for DIY projects. I am pretty handy but often need to talk over a project with someone to get more ideas and advice. I bought a Dewalt handheld circular saw and was having a hard time installing the blade. I called Dewalt customer service, who couldn't help. But Joe, the manager at Ace Hardware realized I had put one washer in the wrong place. VOILA--my circular saw works. I am a very happy customer!”
“Picked up a clamp which cost around $2. It seems like there is minimum requirement for credit card (makes sense due to high credit card fees). Checked the car, no cash. They allowed me to take it as I needed the clamp. I will drop the cash later today. Nice guys. You wouldn’t get this level of service in big name stores like home depot”

“I've always had great experiences at any true value I've been to around the country, and I must have been to them in at least 20 different states. Always helpful and friendly and competent. This tells me that the company prioritize excellence in customer service.
But on my last visit, this was taken to a whole new level. Taylor the assistant manager helped me with my keys which they don't even typically do that style. And she helped me try and dismantle them, which was a whole project. All while their system was down and she had a million better things to do. But she treated me like i was the only one in the store and was truly kind and concerned with the problem i came in to solve. And then i had a few nonconsequential questions while browsing but her and a couple other team members treated them like it was a daily double on jeopardy and they had to find the right answer.
This was help above and beyond from great people. I hardly even know what to say besides thank you!

It was a $0.30 fix but the associate, Mark, spent the time with me to make sure that I was all set, found the right size to fit and even helped me fix my skate.
