“They took on a project that most shops wouldn't have touched with a ten-foot pole and it came out great! A mid-century modern table lamp for a nightstand fell off of the nightstand, and had broken into pieces. It was a wood veneer and it came apart along the sixty-year old glue joints where the glue had failed, and damaged the veneer in places. They were not only able to put it back together, but repair the veneer so it looks great! It took a while, but quality takes time! Highly recommended!”
“What a find! The Crafty Yankee is one of those great little shops where you want to take everything home. It's just full of perfectly picked items that make you think, 'Yep, that would look great in my house.' It's officially my new go-to for gifts, and the fact that they'll gift wrap for you is a huge plus. You’ll find a great mix of things—cool jewelry, amazing-smelling candles, stylish glassware, and cozy sweatshirts, just to name a few. They also have the best selection of Lexington 250th anniversary stuff I've seen around. I honestly can't believe it took me this long to discover this place!”

“We had our 15 year old Lutron shades replaced by Hunter Douglas motorized shades from Tyler and Sash several months ago. We worked primarily with Shaun, but we interacted with many of the staff and they were all extremely helpful. The installation went smoothly, with the minor glitch that one of the 6 motors was making a slight sound, which the installer immediately pointed out and replaced a couple weeks later. Since then we've had flawless operation using the scheduling feature on the app -- closed at sunset and opened at a specified time in the morning. We were a little apprehensive at first, as the price was half of what Lutron had quoted, but the quality of the H-D product is good and so far everything works as promised.”

I would have gave the store 5 stars but they do not have a separate customer service line for returns and questions, you will have to wait on a long line that wraps around twice to get to the register after already waiting on the same very long line to make the purchase.. I'm returning my item because it did not come with all the items that was to be included in the box so I have to suffer on this long line once again.”

Derek really listens, provides relevant options for matting and framing, has a keen eye, and offers keen, sensitive advice if asked. The result with my small painting was amazing!! “Bellow there is a review about us not wanting to cut pieces of fabric and then having to call the police. I am the girl that was there. They wanted to have 5 different fabrics 20 yards each cut into 1 yard pieces. That would be 100 pieces to be cut. I also had a line of 5 people behind them. I ended up cutting some and then they kept asking after I said no. They started becoming irrate and yelling so I took the next customer. While I was cutting for that customer she comes behind the counter picks up the fabric she wanted and threw the fabric on the counter in front of me twice. A customer was the one to call 911. She starting yelling in my managers face. Causing another customer to start yelling at her saying thats no way to treat people. Then when the police showed up they then started screaming at the police which is why if they show up they are trespassing. Also I work with with Asian people and I get many customers who speak in broken English from many different cultures I do not care about that but I do care about being treated like a human.”
