“Service Like Nowhere Else: I needed a part for my obsolete Weber grill that belonged to my late father in law. Kevin Button located the obsolete part for me and even explained exactly how to install it properly. Installed right and the grill fires like a champ!
Customer for over 40 years-but Kevin did not know that. He was just doing what they all do there-treating every customer like they are important.

“I called for some silver dollar fishes and spoke to one of the workers there. She was kind and friendly and went to check to see if they have it and they did. So I went there and they we're all friendly, kind and helpful. The place was clean, organize and easy to find things. Definitely going there again for things I need.”

“Right before my daughter's wedding she insisted I get my gross lab/Newf cross cleaned up.
Groomer stayed very late as he needed to be shaved down [nice ruff around face] looked fabulous! Inexpensive and no other places would accept him due to his size [and he wasn't That Big]
Without them I would have been Toast!

“I'm reviewing only for the grooming service. I had a really bad experience at PetSmart that left my Cavalier KC traumatized and in the ER; you can imagine I was pretty anxious in taking my baby back to a new place. Daniella is the only groomer there so she personally takes care of each dog from beginning to end. I explained all that had happened in the past and she was super understanding, texted and kept me updated throughout the service until the end plus my doggie looked so fluffy, cute and well groomed! I'm definitely going back to her! The price is also very reasonable so a plus on that as well! Thank you Daniella!”

“Not your average Petco fish department. Experienced fish keepers work in this department and whomever does the buying always makes sure to buy unique fish. Always something interesting here including shrimp and plants. The saltwater aquarium section is solid too.”
“I love bringing my Dachshund puppy to doggy daycare. Every time she comes she is always soooo happy to be there. The girls who take care of her are consistent and my pup absolutely loves them as well. She has separation anxiety usually but when it comes to going to doggy daycare she does not.”
“Petco Vaccination clinic, it was way better than when we went to a Vetco Clinic. A lot cheaper and the folks were really AWESOME at the Waltham store.
Vetco, different story. They messed my dog up and I'm still waiting on what you all are going to do. You say he has Lyme after a blood test, then, you give him meds and shots, i paid a lot of money. You schedule a follow up for 10 days later for what you said was his final Lyme shot but i went there for nothing because you were closed that day. You get that? You have me come back on a day your closed lol. So, i had to go back the next day, when i got there i was told i can't see the vet today. Well, before i left i seen the SO-CALLED VET LOL. Now i was told he doesn't have lyme and doesn't need the final shot. I'm really mad at this point. How do you not know what is going on? I still don't know if he has it or not because i can't afford to have him retested cause i have no money left. Ive called them and they won't talk with me and never call me back. What are you hiding? Now i know why my best friend Wesly was treated so bad and for something he didn't have. They don't care, if they did, we wouldn't have been treated like that and they would have at the least call me.
2 employees in the store part of the business heard my mouth and the commotion and after i left they came to me and confirmed how bad they are there. They told me they would never bring their pets there. Never going back nor is anyone i know ever going back after my poor pup was handled like a piece of meat for them to make money. I will never let this go and will keep telling everyone, until they make it right. I'm at the dog parks several times a day telling everyone. They won't even contact me.
I used my disability money for that you know. You don't love animals, and you robbed me, a disabled person. So sad!

“I honestly cannot say enough good things about this Petco location and the incredible team here — especially Robin (Assistant Manager) and Kathy (General Manager).
We recently adopted our bird, Tilly, who came with the 30-day health guarantee. Shortly after bringing her home, I noticed she had an upset stomach and immediately called the store. Robin answered and patiently walked me through what can be normal when bringing a new bird home vs. what to watch for. She encouraged me to call back if things didn’t improve, which gave me so much reassurance!
A couple days later, I still wasn’t comfortable, so they advised me to bring Tilly in. When I arrived, Kathy was there and personally explained the entire process and assured me Tilly would be well cared for. And she meant it. Kathy actually took Tilly to the vet herself the same day!
Throughout the entire time Tilly was being monitored, I received consistent updates. Anytime I called, both Robin and Kathy were incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring. Our family missed Tilly terribly, but we truly felt she was in the best possible hands.
They didn’t just follow policy — they genuinely cared. You can tell they love their animals and their customers. That level of compassion is rare, and it made a stressful situation so much easier.
I will forever recommend this store. Robin and Kathy are absolute gems, and I’m so grateful for the care they gave our little Tilly. ??”
“I've traveled across the USA many times with my dog and been to all kinds of pet stores. PetSmart is the most reliable full-service pet store, hands down. This store in Woburn is extra clean and well organized. I brought my dog for the first time here for a bath and wash today. Mia did an amazing job! (My daughter is also a dog groomer, so I understand the effort the job takes). Mia went the extra mile brushing out my dog's thick furry behind and carefully around his ears. My dog is pretty shy, but he went right up to Mia and seemed comfortable with her. I am grateful for the excellent service and kind staff-- we will be back.”

“My very sweet, 90 pound hound mix turns into an unhinged gremlin for nail trimmings. We've been kicked out of more than one place (with him on doubled up anti anxiety meds). When I spoke to the owner on the phone she said they've only had one dog in 30 years they couldn't do and I thought my Toby would make it 2.
They took him in the back for less than five minutes and he came out happy and trimmed. Highly recommend.”
