“Paul at window, always nice, as are all of the clerks. Wasn't thrilled that a birthday gift I mailed out a week prior came by short of postage. Stating 90cents due, yet when Paul checked it said I was $1.60 short. We both agreed it should have been delivered with opportunity for recipient to have the chance to pay postage due or have it RTS. INSTEAD, birthday gift now going to be a week late. I guessed at postage, put stamps on envelope and mailed at outside box in Palmer because office was closed by time I got there”

Even when I had a false delivery, the kind man in the back spoke to me on the phone, talked me through it. Called me back AND explained everything to me in person. Weird. Love this place.”

“Love this place! It's amazing to me, from standing in line, how few people have a clue...no homework, no preparedness...and they get angry...for reasons that reflect poorly on their preparation. Sure, the main guy can be taciturn at times, but honestly...does he need to put on a charm offensive...I think not...The people I see whining/wingeing are likely on a computer a lot...so do you hw...I've never had a problem.”

I had the wrong return label. (It was an example what a return label looks like). Instead of jumping on the stupid move I made he was calm and explained everything.
This is why the work for the post office, they know what they are doing.
I rushed back the next day with the correct label. He put it on there with respect. Your all set!”

“I love the Belchertown post office so much. I use it A LOT, as I have a lot of family members and friends overseas. Plus I love stamps. The people who work there (shoutout to Courtney, Brenda, Sarah, and Paul!) are friendly, patient, professional, knowledgeable, and all around a pleasure to interact with. I read about towns losing post offices and just am *so glad* that Belchertown still has this one. Keep on keeping on, guys.”
