“Alberto, Melvin & Misael did a fantastic job with moving me into my new apartment. Very pleasant and speedy! Will definitely use this company again for my next move.”
“My movers moved all of my stuff in about an hour. Granted, I am just one person and moved a very short distance, but I was so impressed. The company is very communicative and the movers themselves were punctual, courteous, and professional. Definitely recommend and will use again in the future! They were also recommended to my by a friend who has had multiple positive experiences with their service.”
“I had Excela recommended highly by a friend - she’d used them multiple times and they handled everything end to end with phenomenal service. I found that all to be truer than I could have hoped. They moved my second floor four bed apartment across town lines to another second floor apartment, and I barely lifted a finger. They came in right at the quoted price, and kept me fully informed of everything that was going on - what things were fragile and should be repacked better, making sure everything was placed exactly where I wanted it, and even lifted multiple pieces of additional furniture from the basement at my destination. On top of it all they were very kind and personable and funny to boot. Thanks yall for making me move such a breeze! Definitely will be using yall again.”
“I have used Gentle Giant on more than one occasion in moves within Boston and to another state. I have also used other Boston movers for in-city moves. Hands down, Gentle Giant is the most professional outfit around, with moving teams who know what they are doing, and, better yet, care about it. Their moving skills are terrific, but how they train and manage their employees is even more impressive.”
“Highly recommend Mozart movers! Edwin and his team were professional, worked efficiently, and communicated well throughout the entire process, all at a reasonable price. Made my move a lot easier!”

“I had a great experience with 617 Movers! I had a 1-bedroom move out to storage and then a long-distance move from Boston to NYC. All of my things were moved quickly and with such care. Movers were kind and extremely helpful and communicative. Big shout out to Alex, he was awesome! Moving is stressful, but they made it feel so much easier. Also fairly priced, even in the peak of moving season.”
“Allston Piano movers/Gentle Giant showed up on time and moved everything without issue. These guys are jacked! I can't believe how well they moved such heavy objects such as my dressers and an upright piano. They were super efficient and great to work with. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat.”
“Excellent and cost-effective service all around! They moved my daughter from the west end to the north end in Boston and were on time, friendly and conscientious. I have experience with many moving companies both domestically and internationally and this company is top notch!!! Highly recommend!”
“Can’t say enough good things about Carmel Movers…. 5 STARS doesn’t do them justice…….We used Carmel movers to move us out of our house, into an apartment and keep a truck load in storage for 2 months….. Then they moved our stuff from storage down the Cape Cod…… Ivan ( Manager ) and Melvin ( Crew supervisor ) and his crew were professional and very organized…… It made our moving stress free…… I HIGHLY recommend using Carmel for all your moving needs”
“Guys were extremely nice and helpful. At the time of payment (before they unloaded the truck) it was hard to get ahold of the company I used who hired Roy's. Even the guys were feeling frustrated and kept voicing to the boss we are wasting time.”
“These guys are awesome. Have moved quite a bit with the Army, and these guys are far away the best movers I've ever had. So fast and efficient...no damages and extremely careful not to scuff paint or flooring. No nonsense. 💪
Have used them for two moves and will continue to use for all future moves within Boston. Highly recommend!”
“I had great communication with company prior to their arrival. The guys were on time. Very friendly. Worked hard. Got the job done in a timely manner. We’ve used this company before to move in. They were as good as last time. Definitely hire them if you’re looking to move”

“I had a great experience with Esquire moving. From the start, their booking process was simple and straightforward, and their pricing was totally transparent—no hidden fees or surprises. The three movers: Josue, Diego and Danery, who helped me were friendly, professional, and incredibly efficient - thank you! They handled everything with care and made what could have been a stressful day so much easier.”

“The three young men: Devon, Jevon and Asi
who did the move were fantastic! They were courteous and professional. The worked swiftly and efficiently and got the job done in great time. Haidee in the office was also very accommodating. I would highly recommend this company for a move and would use them again. Their price was very good as well.”
“We serendipitously happened upon the Freedom Trail Foundation tour while traveling through Boston on the way to Maine. Because we found and bought the tickets day of, my partner and I had relatively tempered expectations-- we really just wanted an affordable walking tour that'd give us a taste of Boston. Thanks to our lovely guide, Jeremiah Poope, our expectations were well exceeded! His knowledge of Boston's colonial and revolutionary routes had breadth and depth. Jeremiah's sense of humor was greatly entertaining-- his jabs at Paul Revere convinced me that the iconic figure's importance was indeed inflated in American history narratives!! Kind-hearted and spirited, Jeremiah did a wonderful job ensuring all guests were able to follow along and hear him well. We truly enjoyed learning more about Boston and its extensive history. If you are searching for a Freedom Trail walking tour, you are sure to enjoy a FTF tour if Jeremiah Poope is any indication of the merit of its guides. Huzzah!”
“I’ve used Lexel Moving for at least 3 times, they’ve been great from start to finish.

“Absolutely superb crew and company. Really appreciate the service and the patience with my timeline changing. Would definitely use again! He and his assistant were so helpful and professional!”
“On time, professional movers. Pleasant and easy to deal with. Great job with a small local move. Especially appreciated their careful handling of heirloom furniture (that had been damaged by a previous mover). Would definitely use again in the future and recommend to others.”
“We used Elate for our move across multiple states. Sabuhi and his team were exceptional. They arrived on time and moved the furniture and boxes with care but also efficiently. They then completed an 8+ hour drive and moved us in to our new house on the same day. Communication was excellent throughout. Pricing was excellent without any surprises. Would highly recommend and would use again.”
“I rented a storage unit at Prime Storage (formerly Planet Self-Storage) on Traveler Street in Boston's South End for about 19 years. They've been great. My stuff was fine the whole time, the billing was managed well, and the staff have been very helpful, especially Chris, the current front desk person. I recently retired and need to downsize and save money, otherwise I would still keep my unit. They've been a pleasure to deal with, and I recommend them highly.”
“Great experience with this moving company. On time, efficient, and competitively priced. Will certainly think of them if I ever need movers again. Thanks, New Frontiers!”

“Fenway Movers handled our move from Somerville to Maine this past June, and they were truly outstanding. Charles and his crew impressed us with their efficient and organized approach, ensuring a smooth transition. What particularly stood out was their careful attention to our belongings, as they meticulously wrapped all furniture to prevent any damage during the move. The speed at which they worked was remarkable, completing the entire process faster than we had anticipated. They also were very reasonably priced, coming in significantly less than some of the other names that come up in the area. We wholeheartedly recommend Fenway Movers for anyone seeking an stress-free and swift relocation experience.”
“Absolutely wonderful experience with Movers In Action. They were careful, courteous, professional and on time. Lots of tight passage ways and stairs with very heavy 1940s furniture. We will recommend this company to family and friends.”
“Ivan was helpful with me obtaining permits that I did not know I needed for moving Pods to be placed in our street in a fast manner and was great communicating with me as I worried and stressed about gettting it in time for my move. Very understanding and patient with me and my worries. Many thanks to Ivan for helping me with kindness.”
“We used Astro International last summer to ship a 20-foot container from Arlington, MA to County Mayo, Ireland. The container was delivered to our home in Arlington, where we had several days to load it with furniture and other household items. About six weeks later, it arrived in Mayo, where we had just two hours to unload it.
We managed to get everything unloaded in time, with the help of friends and neighbors. The only real negative for us was the two-hour unloading window. In addition, the container had to be emptied at our gate because the truck driver said he couldn't bring it any closer to the house, which made the unloading considerably more difficult.
Overall, our experience with Peter and Astro International was very positive. Communication was easy, the price was reasonable, and everything went according to plan. We would definitely use Astro International again.”
“Easy to work with, surprisingly affordable, great with shipping and receiving, absolute confidence in their security. Plus it's fun to watch your unit being lowered from the ceiling of the great big box.”
“My experience was delightful. Gretchen worked with us from the start which displayed her true professionalism. She got us a transportation company within a very short time and it worked out to our liking. Time was not in our favor at a certain point but Gretchen did magic and time did work out for us overall.”
