Trident Booksellers & Café opened in 1984 and has since expanded from a small bookstore café to a full-service restaurant with two dining rooms, plenty of patio seating, and two floors of books. Located on Newbury Street in historic Back Bay, Trident is the last general independent bookstore in Boston proper. Menu favorites are the Lemon Ricotta Stuffed French Toast, Vegan Cashew Chili, and Deluxe Grilled Cheese. We also have a full espresso bar, a large selection of loose leaf teas, beer & wine, and fresh juices and smoothies.
