Trident Booksellers & Café is a popular independent bookstore and full-service restaurant on Newbury Street. It is an essential Boston experience, though it can be crowded, loud, and overstimulating—part of the fun. The space is tight and jam-packed, with two floors of books and tables intermingled. The menu has great variety, with large, tasty portions and terrific food, including favorite dishes like Lemon Ricotta Stuffed French Toast. Service involves ordering on an app, which is fast, though service itself isn't very good. The ambiance is quaint and loved, with a terrific book selection, a full espresso bar, and beer and wine. It offers good value for a fast meal in a nice spot.
I absolutely love this place! I was recommended this place by a friend of mine and they did not disappoint. This place is amazing. I will definitely be coming back! They have an assortment of everything from books to even little tchotchkes like funny candles. I highly recommend their short rib poutine!

Located next to a bookstore, it’s a cozy and relaxing spot. The food was excellent, and I really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere.
