This United States Postal Service office in South Boston is a small but perfectly adequate location. The staff are consistently described as hard-working, polite, helpful, efficient, and witty. While the office can be unpredictable and sometimes crowded, visits are smooth for those who plan their timing. The employees efficiently handle package pick-ups and more time-consuming services like passports. Reviews strongly defend the staff, noting they often face rude, disrespectful, and entitled behavior from some customers despite their excellent service. The location is considered a vital community resource, and the dedicated workers are credited for managing the many moving parts of the huge postal operation with grace under pressure.
Employees are very nice however I can’t believe it’s 2025 and I had to leave and sit in rush hour Boston traffic to go home and print a physical return label because their system couldn’t scan a QR/label and they “don’t have a printer.”
