“In my experience, Paula was super helpful in helping me submit my passport renewal form. Fedex had lost my passport renewal application in the mail, so I had to submit another application through USPS with expedited processing and shipping. When I met with Paula, she saw that I didn't have all my documents, and she gave very clear instructions regarding what I needed and any other specifics. I didn't realize that this USPS office doesn't take passport photos, but she directed me to the CVS across the street while also saying that once I returned with the photos, she would help me right away after I returned. The whole process took two days, mainly because of errors on my part, and the whole time, Paula was patient and calm, which helped me out a ton. Eventually got my passport two weeks later and was still able to make it on my trip. Thanks, Paula!”

“I was a little hesitant to visit this post office because of the poor reviews but the postal workers we encountered were professional and courteous. We picked up a large flat rate box ($22.10 March 2023) and was informed we can pay for it when we drop the package off. So we returned a couple of hours later to do so. There was only one person in line (looks like she's renewing her passport and possibly her first time doing so) but we weren't in a hurry. A male worker came from the back to help us and our transaction was over in less than ten minutes with no issues. They provide glue sticks for customers to seal their envelopes. They sell packing supplies if you need them. This location also rents mailboxes. Convenient location and hours.”

“Huge problems in the USPS administration starting from it hasn't made a profit in years. Knowing that, USPS W Dedham is badly oveworked and understaffed. Packages are routed thru USPS Roxbury and regularly incorrectly scanned "to beat the clock" which makes W Dedham look inefficient ; which in turn threatens keeping the W Dedham USPS open at all.All USPS employees are timed, scheduled, tracked, inspected and changed by the clock. That's why they can't get nor keep new employees. The long term USPS employees are desperately trying to keep their jobs ( or a job, no matter where they are assigned) until they can retire with their pension.The USPS W Dedham is woefully unstaffed, have to do more in less time, with inadequate equipment and space. Most frequently one person at the windows struggling with a failing money order machine while the lines get longer. With one person at the window, who sorts and puts up packages that arrive from Roxbury by 11am?, when do they get a coffee? Or use the bathroom? Or get lunch?W Dedham USPS is used by many many people who don't have bank accounts, or cars, or are unable to get to another USPS.So, short version - have patience with the staff, complain to Roxbury or higher up that you need and want W Dedham better staffed and supported. There really is the possibility W Dedham USPS will be closed to reduce costs.”

“I dropped by for passport renewal a day earlier than my appointment and the staff was so nice and accepted my application. One person specially was working so hard. I have to say that I had gone to Milk st. Post office first where 3 people were behind the counter and the guy said no I am busy. The place was not busy at all but he had the right to reject since I was early. So this branch went out of it way and provided service. It’s nice to see people care and help when they can. Thank you”

I went there for a passport which takes a little extra time than your average post office visit and in the matter of time that I was there (15-20 mins?) the attending clerks were both treated rudely, disrespectfully and with entitled behavior by at least four different customers. One man was edging on violence. These employees legitimately need a security guard... or bouncer The internet blew up retail store Karens and it's time we call out these post office rude Karens next because NO ONE deserves the treatment that I had witnessed today. ESPECIALLY considering that ALL attendants we're QUICK, HELPFUL, WITTY AND WORKING HARD. It was uncalled for and you patrons, my NEIGHBORS - SADLY should be ashamed of yourselves. For shame.”

She helps everyone and tries to resolve situations before they get out of hand. The only people that discredit her are the people that have come into the office being rude and mean.These people come to this building to help out our area. “They guy at the front with the white beard and eagle chains was helpful and knew what he was saying when he told me my package may have been stolen, I was frustrated I had been waiting in line and thought they had it therebut later I looked it up and he is probably right! I was mad cuz I thought he was tryna get through the line and I had been waiting awile, but he knew exactly and just helped me even though I kept pushin it. It seemed like they had too many people waiting which was frustrating but honestly when I thought about its a regular post office and Imma probably wait a damn minute anyway, like they was gettin cussed out by the people and still doing his job good.
