“I attended the Materials Research Society (MRS) international conference, which focuses on materials science. This annual conference is held at this venue. The facility includes a spacious area for large corporate exhibition booths. All floors are accessible via escalators, and there are numerous conference rooms available for presentations. December 2024.”

“This was super fun for the kids (7,9, and 10). We prepared by watching the Liberty Kids: American Revolution series on YouTube. You get assigned a colonial character, attend a rousing meeting and then throw tea crates into the harbor! Followed by some very cool history lessons - I won't give away the surprises. Great use of modern tech to share historical knowledge. The tea room is a great spot for a snack after.”
“I visited this location for Valentine’s Day weekend. This luxurious hotel is located by the water. They offer various amenities, including a gym, an indoor pool, and a coffee shop located inside the hotel. I highly recommend visiting this hotel; you will not be disappointed. PS. “Stayed here for my 40th birthday and it did not disappoint! We received an upgraded room, free drink tickets and a complimentary bottle of champagne. All the staff were truly wonderful. This will be the place I stay when visiting Boston from now on! Just absolutely amazing!”

“I am so grateful to have found Musicians Playground (MP)! After 25 years of doing little more than singing very loudly in the privacy of my own car, when for many years prior to that music was the majority of my identity, I rediscovered a part of myself that had been dormant, and it has brought me so much joy!
I think it’s easy as an adult to fall into routines that are mostly just productive and it can be scary to do something with the intention of just adding more joy to your life. Also, it’s really hard to meet new people as a working adult.
When I first called to find out more information about MP, a lot of things in my life had just shifted and I really needed to do something for myself. I wanted to be passionate about something other than my job (I’m a former speech pathologist and current special education team chair)! I was looking to get back into music, but I was also looking for connection. Seek and ye shall find!!
If I’m being honest, I was very nervous about the whole thing at first. It felt like a huge risk! Alyssa, the owner, assured me that MP was a community of adults enjoying music together. She sounded awfully serious though, even though I now know she’s just a highly trained musically talented goofball, and I worried. Would I be good enough? Would I fit in? Would it be worth it? Yes! Yes! And yes!
What lovely people, from every walk of life! What amazingly talented, engaging teachers! How remarkable to find a place where you can be true to yourself and have that authenticity mirrored by everyone around! What a wonderful sense of belonging! MP has increased my quality of life by leaps and bounds! Not only am I having so much fun in my private (voice with Tima, she’s unreal!) and group lessons (voice hits and piano fundamentals and band with Tima, Alyssa and Anika, literal rock stars!), I’ve had the unexpected pleasure of really loving learning new technique/skills (voice and piano) to the point that I am scheduling others that I’m gonna be starting soon (guitar).
Hey, if this chick, can sing with a band in front of an audience and have a blast doing it, then you can give MP a try! I truly cannot recommend Musicians Playground more highly!”

“Great sound quality, even in the back where I was sitting. However, the doors to the venue are extremely loud and the ushers weren't stopping people from entering mid-song so it was a bit distracting with them opening and closing constantly.”

“For some crazy reason there are some people out there who tend to overlook this place. We don't understand why. It's one of the most important locations in the early days of the American revolution. Even the Boston Tea Party was planned here.”
“We attended this in Boston in a castle, which was a pretty cool experience. The Moonwalkers was fantastic. I loved everything - the story, the technology, the graphics, pictures, venue! They did a really good job telling the story with the history. I loved the imagery and really felt like we were on a rocket and walking on the moon!”

“I stayed at The Liberty Hotel in Boston from March 13th–18th, and I’ve got to say this place is something special. The whole “former jail turned luxury hotel” concept is executed perfectly. The architecture, the preserved details, the atmosphere… it’s like they took “Jails Incorporated” and made it first class. Definitely one of the most unique hotel experiences I’ve had.
The service across the board was outstanding. Everyone I interacted with front desk, housekeeping, staff was professional, welcoming, and on point the entire stay. You can tell they take pride in what they do.
All in all, The Liberty delivers. Great vibe, great people, great food. I’d absolutely stay”

“The location - amazing. Loved the common area with plentiful water, snacks, fridge. Our room with ensuite was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly. Also loved how we were able to store our luggage the day we checked out. Breakfast was yummy (thank you for accommodating my diet requests!) The value of our money felt well spent here. 10/10 would recommend to others and come back again!”

“My husband and I got married here this May. Neither of us were members. Paige was our venue coordinator and I cannot say enough wonderful things. From our tour, to the food tasting, and finally the day of Paige was there. She was so helpful and responsive. Everyone we interacted with was so flexible and accommodating. The guests could not stop talking about the view and the food. A city wedding wasn’t what I originally envisioned, but I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out at the UMass Club.”

The facilities were clean and well-maintained - I never had even the slightest hesitation about hosting meetings there. Pricing was competitive, especially considering the services included. “This location offers a beautiful view of the city, the rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff has been wonderful. The breakfast is delicious with made to order omelets, fruit, waffles, bacon, sausage and other items. And it is close enough that a short walk through the park and you can catch a train or bus to wherever you need to go. Definitely look forward to staying here again. The only negative experience we had was having a rep try to sell us on additional stays every single day.”

“We recently celebrated our daughter’s wedding ceremony and reception at the Boston College Club. To say that every aspect of the entire event was spectacular would be an understatement! The view of the beautiful city was just magnificent, the food was some of the best we’ve ever had (the filet was incredible)and the staff were very polite and professional. The big day went as smoothly as we could have ever hoped for thanks to the impeccable work of Anna Grace who met with our daughter and son-in-law months before the wedding working on all the specific details and didn’t miss a beat on making their vision a reality. Thanks to Anna Grace and Ronnie, who saw to every tiny detail our daughter told us many times throughout their special day that her wedding was everything and more she had ever dreamed of and wouldn’t change a thing!!! I think that says it all!!!”

“Very convenient location right in downtown Boston. It’s a historic hotel, so expect smaller rooms and older facilities.
Charging $75 for early check-in is the highest I’ve encountered, and esp as rooms would only be available after 12pm (even with early check-in). I didn’t pay the fee.
Some staff (esp the old vanguard) are really lovely - they made the stay worthwhile!
Gym is pretty extensive and don’t miss the historical details in the basement!”
“Dorchester Art Project has been serving the community for years. This is the best place for local artists! Rent their theater out for cool underground music shows or check out their awesome studio spaces Make sure to go to a gallery show or see a local band play and support local artists!”
