“I love the positive vibes and colors as well as the all welcoming aura at Pepo! Stepped into this cozy non-profit cafe and well curated library yesterday for the first time. Emily was a sweetheart. We had some amazing conversations that kept her at work a bit longer. Apologies, Emily. I devoured the pork siopao and white peach tea before I took any photos. Thank you for the sweet treats, too! Let’s say it won’t be my last time here. ?. Street parking was easy around the corner.”

“The NACA program in Boston is an excellent resource for individuals and families looking to achieve homeownership. The program provides comprehensive financial counseling, education, and support throughout the home-buying process. What makes NACA unique is its focus on affordability, including no down payment, no closing costs, and competitive mortgage terms for qualified buyers.”

“Beautiful light displays are set throughout the historic estate grounds (The Bradley Estate). The signage is clear and makes the route easy to follow. The walk through the entire display takes about 40 minutes, so plan accordingly. Restrooms are limited to portable facilities only, so it’s best not to drink too much water beforehand.”

“I recently dined at the Lithuanian Kitchen, located within the South Boston Lithuanian Citizens’ Association, and it was a delightful experience. As someone of Lithuanian descent, the traditional dishes served here truly felt like comfort food, reminiscent of family gatherings. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the community. While the kitchen operates with limited hours, typically open on select Sundays, it’s well worth planning a visit. The authenticity and quality of the food make it a must-visit spot for anyone seeking a taste of Lithuanian cuisine in Boston.”

“I'm biased. I'm a knight. That said, the recently renovated function hall, lounge and game room offer superb venues for functions ranging from club meetings, to anniversaries to weddings. With 2 bars and a full kitchen and side rooms, it has everything you need for a grand affair in style. Plenty of parking and conveniently located on route 18 in Whitman, these function spaces have it all.”

“My almost 2.5-year-old started daycare for the very first time about six months ago at Transportation Children’s Center, and I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. My son has a speech delay and before starting TCC he was extremely shy, clingy, and very much “all about mom” (still is..). I was so nervous about how the adjustment period would go since it was his first time being taken care of by someone other than mom or dad—but thanks to the incredibly patient, caring, and attentive teachers at TCC, the transition was smoother than I ever could have imagined. Since starting, he has grown into a much more confident and independent little boy. Every single day he is learning something new, and I am constantly blown away by the thoughtful, creative, and engaging activities they plan for the children. You can truly feel how much love, intention, and expertise goes into everything they do. TCC is truly a hidden gem in the Back Bay that not many parents realize is even an option—and we feel so incredibly lucky to have found it. Choosing TCC has been one of the best decisions we’ve made for our son. We are so grateful for this amazing community and could not be happier with our experience here.”

“Historic playhouse with a larger theater and smaller black box space. The folding chairs in the latter can be uncomfortable - consider laying down a sweater or bring a cushion for longer plays.”

“What an amazing place to have as a resource. The people that work there are always super friendly. It's nice to have a place to stay that's not a hospital! They have everything you could need. A nice and quiet room, many shared bathrooms. There a nice yard with playset for the kids. A huge playroom in the basement plus a media room and laundry room. Plus they always have family style meals to share in their large dining room. The kitchen is big with enough room for at least 2 families to cook at once. They usually have pantry items and shared items in the fridge. They make it feel comfortable and safe. Thank you Boston House!!”
