βAnywhere that has books is awesome but Porter Square Books goes above and beyond. I keep coming back time and again because of the people as well as the selection!β
βMy absolute favorite place in Cambridge! Amazing selection in all departments, but my favorites are non-fiction, children's books (especially the staff picks -- I've discovered so many hidden gems thanks to them!), and the used book section in the basement (both the contents and the vibe). The staff members are amazingly helpful and knowledgeable, and they more than deserve a fair wage!β

βI love this little bookshop and visit it often! Great selection of all kinds of books with fair prices, and you can sell used books here too. They have a great inventory of gifts and puzzles as well. The owners are really nice and knowledgeable, and they have a good rewards program. This has become my go-to shop for buying books!β
βThis store sells products and souvenirs with the theme of MIT, which is a research center of the highest level in the world, considered a leader in technology. They sell keychains, caps, t-shirts, sweaters, jackets, gloves, USB drives, among a variety of products. the prices...just like the rest of the state of Massachusetts, they are high prices. The clothes are made in other countries such as the Republica del Salvador, China y otros, however they are of very good quality.β

βStopped in for a last minute birthday gift and the staff was super helpful recommending the perfect gift for a 4 year old! Great selection of toys and crafts with a book section as well. They also gift wrap!β
βGriffin was the man ! Took his time & went through 2 binders filled with vintage Pokemon & gave me the best price possible. Tbh more than I was expecting. Nothing but honest & warm welcoming people as soon as you enter the establishment. Thank you Griffin !β

βThe staff here are very nice and super helpful! I was looking for a air fryer cookbook for my roommate and two of the staff helped me search through their cooking section for it. When we couldnβt find it, they looked on the computer and even went to the back room to find a copy for me. 10/10 customer service :)β
βI LOVE that we have such bookstore in our town, itβs really amazing. When I couldnβt find my book in store you can always pay first and they will order for you , once your item been filled you will get notification to go pick it up, itβs super convenient. I highly recommend this bookstore. Such wonderful storeβ
βI loved the range and selection of books, both fiction and non-fiction. I would have gladly spent hours there but it was very crowded (went on a holiday weekend) and each of the top floors were crowded and tight.β

They also support local authorsβwe actually met one in the store who drew a custom drawing for our son. Itβs obvious a lot of love goes into this place.β

βAfter a walk around the pond 1.7 miles I get to stop in to the Society Shop at Walden and get a cold drink, browse thru the books and spend a few minutes with the folks behind the counter. A great place, very warm people. Thanks for being there!β

Everyone Iβve spoken with consistently praises the supportive and highly engaged faculty, the phenomenal array of affordable vocational and transfer programs, and the robust student support services, including tutoring and counseling, emphasizing that the college successfully serves as an engine of social mobility and personal empowerment for the entire Greater Boston region. Iβve learned from their narratives that the atmosphere is one of focused opportunity and encouraging inclusivity, making it an exceptional, low-risk starting point for anyone looking to earn a degree, start a new career path, or bridge into a four-year university program. My subjective conclusion is that BHCC is an irreplaceable public resource and a true community success story - a mandatory place to visit if you are considering furthering your education, no matter your age or background.β
βBeautiful gift shop! A nice section for children, and beautiful, quality gift items. Also a great place to shop for binoculars, field guides, books on natural history, bird feeders or bird and nature related gifts. Staff is extremely helpful as well. Highly recommend!β

βAvid lover of Moleskine notebooks for a few years now and just found their store in Cambridge. Came in to get a finished moleskine notebook custom stamped in person!! Love that you can personalize your notebooks and is very quick to do and great price (especially if you join Moleskine rewards program).β
βI've easily spent hours here, skimming through poetry books. It's always interesting because what I end up buying reflects my mood of that day. Nice place to get inspired, and reflect and read. They have contemp poetry, a translated section, a lot from local poets, the selection feels infinite sometimes lol. The man who manages the store asked me if I was a poet once - which was cool, because I write sometimes but only for myself. The manager, himself, is a published poet. And they do readings here from time to time too. You can definitely find books in every price range. This shop is probably the best thing Harvard square has to offer. Love love love.β
βCute bookstore. Stopped in while on a work trip to the area. The book store itself is rather small but they have hundreds of books cataloged in the back so all you have to do is have them look it up for you. They also have local seasoning, crafts, and more displayed around the shop for purchase. I was able to get the book I was looking for along with some Zatar seasoning. It was a win win for me. Would definitely come back to find a new book or just to see what they have that's new. Part of the proceeds also go to a worthy cause of youth education and literacy so that makes it even better. Will definitely return!β

βStore is well organized, I did wish there were a few more affordable options for Sweatshirts, one alone was $80. They do have almost everything one would need if there was no nearby convenience store. Over all awesome shopping experience!β
βThe area around HBS is actually hard to find a cheap lunch option. Not just because of the increased inflation, but if you don't want a sandwich. It hard to find a variety. Spangler offered a full tans of food varieties all being fresh. My office just moved closer to Spangler and sometime I just want a quick soup n salad. They have a hot bar that offers cuisines from around the world which makes for a nice change. The staff is so kind and helpful. Peak lunch time can be crowded so plan accordingly.β
