“this is a great place. I‘m glad I started with D1. I have taken 10 classes so far. I already fell that much stronger than before. It‘s very structured class focusing on performance, strengthening, and core. The class breaks down to small , tangible tasks, not overwhelming at all. This is a small family business that doesn’t Have the corporation and chain store Atmosphere. I used to train with orange theory. They have the standardized protocol for classes, With videos guide you through the training process. I felt like i was a chicken on manufacturer line. At D1, The coach will design the class, it feels like personal trainer in a group setting. The equipment is excellent. After each class, I simply feel good. It is not too hard, Making me not wanting to go. I just focus on showing up. I always get very good workout. I feel that this is something that I can stick to. It is not Like some gyms That I would sign up and quit or not going.”

“If you’re looking for a community that will push you beyond what you thought was possible, look no further. This CrossFit team is truly something special.
From day one, the coaches bring an incredible level of expertise and genuine enthusiasm to every session. They take the time to learn your strengths, work through your weaknesses, and scale workouts so that every single person — from complete beginner to seasoned athlete — feels challenged and supported in equal measure.

Coach Brian pushed me in the best possible way. Every session, they challenged me to go further than I thought I could. Coach Lori , she’s amazing all the time with such grace and smiles :)”

“I saw one of the PTs at Movement Workshop, Taryn, when I had a running injury that wasn't getting better with rest. In addition to manual therapy work, she built a progressive mobility and strength program that has my runs feeling better than than have in years. She understood my goals and was able to make the home program work with the equipment I already had. We were also able to address areas that weren't specific to what I thought was the injured area. Although I'm done with PT, I'm looking forward to continuing to work with with Taryn in the small group training sessions.”

“I started orange theory earlier this month and love it. My first class was with Emily who was great at showing me the ropes and making sure I had the movements down. Only down side is if you work later I to the evening like I do you may be limited to early morning work outs - thankfully BG carries enough energy for everyone and gets your day started the right way.”

“Clean gym, good vibes, and nobody judged me when I switched from regular gym exercises to full ballroom Quickstep jump-rope cardio mode in the middle of the workout.”

“UPDATE:

Adjusting to 4 stars. Since this message, absolutely zero issues along the lines of my below message. Not 5 because of still the general inconsistencies with messaging, improvements and pricing.

Paying a lot money monthly and constantly being increased, etc are fully expected at a gym, especially one of this tier. That’s fine and good, still isn’t fun but it is what it is. Despite the below, I’ll keep going to this gym just because of the size, resources, and amenities.

What’s not expected after paying this much is drain flies, foul drain smell, zyns on the sauna floor, crust on the steam benches, pubic/body hair that is months old in between sauna benches, and non functional televisions on treadmills for 3.5 years.

As a heads up, don’t expect any resolution if you bring these concerns up. You will be met with vague platitudes/reassurances and no actual action. Oh. And that’s if they even respond. Something they only did after I followed up two days after requesting an update. Despite reassurances that club management had received my email, I received no response from them and only from the concierge.

You would think bio-hazards/drain flies would meet that threshold but I guess not. I’ll keep going because it’s still the only gym that has the resources this one does. And, sometimes the lockeroom is clean. But it’s absolutely despicable to keep raising rates, saying you’re improving things, and make no meaningful effort to remediate things like drain flies.

Oh, and, despite 6 price increases in 3.5 years- yet to see a new or replaced machine. As I’ve said before, match the customer service with the price. I’ll pay, I do now. Just stop sending blatant lies about improvements or vague platitudes when we all know you’re not doing that. It’s less insulting to just send the price increase.”
