“I was riding around Somerville and hit a bump that messed up my chain, took it to this store and they fixed it up quick, gave me some tips on chain care, and didn’t charge me. Very nice would recommend!”

“Needed a replacement part for a bike light. Manufacturer's website said Cambridge Bicycle had it in stock. I emailed the store and the staff set it aside for me for pickup. Nice of them to do that. Support your Local Bike Shop!”

“Boston E-Bikes is a business that deserves recognition for their friendly, committed, calm, cool and collected service.Their ability to tend to the needs of individuals with physical handicaps like myself is heart warming and lifts the spirit on each visit.I am pleased with this company and their attitude of being part of a family with customers and The General Public. It can be a rare experience to encounter individuals like this with manners, respect, dignity, humility and a willingness to put a smile on their customers faces with lighthearted humor.I look forward to additional encounters and maintaining the joy of my E-Bike with The Boston E-Bikes Family.”

“I walked in first thing in the morning with a flat tire on my E-bike and they changed my tube in 5minutes INCREDIBLY PRICED! I never dealt with an easier bike shop especially for something last minute. Saved my son’s Halloween bike ride. My go to bike shop from now on because of the friendly efficient service! Thanks Anthony and Alek?”

“No new opinions here, but I completely agree with everyone who raves about the repair services at Bike Boom! Twice in the past year, I’ve gotten a brutal flat tire and shamefully walked my bike to this shop minutes before they were supposed to close. Both times, the team at Bike Boom was super friendly, honest, and accommodating— going out of their way to get my bike back on the road immediately (and in better condition than before). Fast service + fair pricing. Lucky to have a shop like this in Davis Square! Thanks guys!”

“The owners are super friendly and actively listened to help me find the bike that best fits my needs. There is no pressure to buy one way or the other, no gut feeling telling me something is wrong here, and all-in-all, it is a good business run by good people. I also loved the cat that likes to hang out in the store.”

“The best bike shop around! I went here for both of my mountain bikes and found the service, variety, and community here all as stand outs. They do quick and reliable servicing as well, just make sure to schedule an appointment ahead of time. Can't recommend them enough - they do not pressure you at all to buy something. They are informative and encouraging, which I really appreciate.”

“Hey everyone, check out My Community Bike store! I've been a loyal customer since I was a young kid, and now as a dad with back problems, I've found the perfect solution with my awesome Gravel Bike! Huge shoutout to the incredible team who helped me build and maintain this fantastic bike, which is not only comfortable but also a blast to ride! Keep up the amazing work, guys! Woohoo!”

“I couldn't recommend Fast Splits enough! Yesterday I worked with Linda on a wetsuit fitting for an upcoming triathlon I am doing on Lake Michigan. Linda is fantastic and I truly had a personalized experience! I haven't worn a wetsuit in the open water before. She took the time to teach me the wetsuit basics, fit me, made sure I felt comfortable in the suit including taking it on and off, and taught me about wetsuit maintenance. I could truly see her passion in what she does and I am grateful for all the time she spent with me. I am confident I now have an investment piece for years to come and I'm very excited about getting more into open water swimming now that I have the appropriate gear and education! Thank you Linda and Fast Splits! This is the place to go for all your multisport needs!”

“I called ahead to rent a mountain bike for the day - the price was very competitive. Adi did a thorough tune up to the bike before handing it over. He's a super professional and friendly bike mechanic and shop owner. Quite a stand up guy as Espresso and spirits were on the house! :)”

“I was in the market for a new road bike, and given my planned investment, grew increasingly uneasy with making a large purchase based upon a factory-to-consumer model.I was invited to the store, checked out the inventory, and made appointment for a formalized fitting. The high-tech fitting, which reviewed riding position on the hoods and drops, along with saddle position, allowed the technicians to utilize advanced technology and made precise recommendations on a in scope bikes as my preferred price point. After purchasing the bike, the shop was responsive in following up when all modifications were complete.Barry, Clint, and Team—Thank you for your attention and continued support throughout the process!”

“Had my first experience with Quad Cycles recently. I needed a tune up ($85) to my old RockHopper mountain bike. Also needed new tires, tubes and saddle. Rustem was busy with another customer but gave me a visual acknowledgement that he'll be with me shortly. I kept myself busy with checking out new bikes, clothing etc. I liked the atmosphere as it reminded me of an old school shop. The newer shops I've been to are more aligned with all things modern and high prices. Once Rustem and I got talking, I realized how caring and knowledgeable he is. He didn't try to sell me on a new bike or expensive products. He told me my bike would be done within a few a days even though he's short on employees. Upon pick up, everything was in order and I'm very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend Quad Cycles for your typical rider family. I will frequenting this shop when I have a bike need or just for a social drop by to chat with Rustem. Total out of pocket was $285 plus tax which I felt was very reasonable given the beat up condition of my bike.”

“Everyone who works here acts like an ornery old man, and two of the three of them are. But it is a useful fox burrow of an LBS for the granola people of JP and the rest of us who occasionally need a tuneup.”

“I’ve picked up a few things from here over the years but recently was able to grab Pathfinder 38s tires that were unavailable everywhere else and I was helped by the exceptional tire pro Ben. This a top bike house!”

“Very pricey items and service, but high quality. If you can swing the costs, I can highly recommend it, but if you're looking to address your bike equipment and maintenance needs on a budget, this is absolutely not the place for you.”
