About Porter Square Hotel
Porter Square Hotel is a very clean, comfortable, and super underrated hotel with an excellent and convenient location. It is literally across the street from the railway station and very close to the Red Line subway station, just a few stops from downtown. The excellent neighborhood has many shops, cafes, Target, a pharmacy, and dining options in close vicinity. The rooms are nice, compact, cozy, and modern, but quite small with smaller-than-standard beds. There is clever use of space for storage. The staff are nice, friendly, and helpful. Parking is very cheap and accessible with attentive valet service. The hotel is in a quiet area with lots of things to do nearby and has a small business centre with internet access. An attached restaurant looks good.

Be aware that this hotel wifi blocks all VPN services. Its a bummer that working from the hotel might not be feasible for some. Otherwise, no complaints.

This is a really nice hotel! I really enjoyed my stay here. It feels fancy for the price - I believe it’s one of the less expensive hotels in the area. Nice shower in the bathroom, nice big bed, nice rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again or recommend it to anyone who needs a hotel... read full comment
