I made an appointment for live fingerprint at 4PM. Showed up on time. The fingerprint service people are not there and went home already. This place is a joke.

Not for all the Staple services, sorry about the 1 star but 1 star is too much for the fingerprinting service.Th worker of the fingerprinting service went to her lunch time immediately while there were still people who had appointments in the morning waiting at the door, and returned 20 minutes with her unfinished fruit the end of the lunch time even though knowing new people kept coming and checked in on time. The worker have to help you with fingerprinting by adjusting your hand position, but she did not wash hands or wear gloves after she just had her fruit with bare hands.

As a former employee. Management encourages employees to not sell tech products to Asian customers. Management has no respect for their own employees nor customers who shop there. Only a matter of time until closure

The self service printing machines had a problem. None of them gave me my prints. But their employee ended up helping me with it on their special machines. So, I guess - good staff but bad machines!

I wanted to print something for my wedding on vellum paper so I bought some laser printer-friendly vellum paper and brought it here. The staff very kindly helped me print my file on my vellum paper. I really appreciated it since nowhere offers vellum as a paper option for printing and I don’t have my own printer.

Avoid the IdentoGo service at this location. Had an appointment for fingerprinting, checked in with their QR code scan and then waited an hour past our time. Tried to ask about it and the provider closed the door in my face. Talked to the staples manager who was very helpful but could not do anything as IdentoGo is a separate business. Several of us that had been waiting finally got the provider to talk to us - turned out the system did not show us as checked in despite sending us a text saying we were all set and should wait for them to text us when they were ready. It took 5 minutes of asking the same question over and over while she berated us for not checking in before we figured that out…. Understandable to have technical issues but an inexcusable lack of communication and terrible customer service.

I came here on a Monday afternoon for fingerprinting. My appointment was at 12:30 and I arrived at 12:20. There were about 4-5 people there waiting ahead of me. As I was waiting the person doing the fingerprinting was able to help 3 people before 1 o'clock came around and the lady said she was going on lunch and would be back at 1:30. There was no one else at the store who was able to continue fingerprinting people apparently?? At this time more people had arrived and we're waiting for their fingerprinting as well. I talked to the two girls waiting beside me and their appointments were at 12:20 and 12:40. I understand that people need to take lunch breaks but it's pretty ridiculous to allow people to make appointments and then have to wait over an hour for their turn.

I had a huge order and the document printing team was incredibly responsive and helpful and made my life a whole lot easier. Will definitely use this location again.

The Asian guy with glasses behind the UPS counter in Staples was very rude. He threw my return package on the floor and was yelling at me for improperly putting the tape on it. Rather than let me know how to fix it or help, he threw the package and said it probably won't make it to the destination and just rolled his eyes and sent me out as he mumbled under his breath.

Staples returned an unopened heavy duty Scotch mailing tape that sold for $3.95 for $0.46 -- that is 88% less than I paid for it. I no longer had the receipt but the register showed the selling price and the return price. The manager said their store no longer sold that particular style. I did not recall which Staples I bought it at. I just had too many rolls of mailing tape, and they were cluttering my shelf, so I wanted to returned one. I returned one other small thing which was unsatisfactory. It is only because I glanced at the return receipt that I caught this rediculous policy. As a large corporation, they should return all unopened things at the price they are sold at in any of their stores. I would not have had a problem getting a store credit, since I shop there regularly.

I've had several great experiences with Staples employees lately. On New Year's Eve 2022, Haroun at the Alewife store went above and beyond to help me find a cable to connect two monitors to my new computer. And the printing staff at the Soldiers Field Road store were patient and amazing during a stressful time getting some stuff printed in October. ?

I put in an order in October. Never received a call or email to pick it up, but received a call about how they were going to toss it. It’s just annoying because the last time I went next day to pick up my order from Staples, the woman told me that I needed to wait to be called…which one is it???!!!
