“I had my first appointment here today with Angel. When I first got here and was told to bring her in, they were honestly so nice and showed how caring they are! The vet who came in was very concerned for Angel and talked about what the plan was going to be to help her skin and ensure she wouldn't be in any pain and would have a better quality of life. i cant thank them enough for the help an explaing the plan for my sister an i so we both could agree with the plan together for angel! id reccomend anyone pet come to this vet they care about your animals! i will be back with my other dogs:)”
“I have been coming to ACE for many years. We really got close when both of my pups got older and we had to visit more often and ultimately put them both down in the same year. The compassion that we received on both of those very sad days was so appreciated. We did not expect to adopt so soon after but one never knows what the future holds. When Lea came into our lives we couldn't wait to introduce her to the ACE team! She always loves to go see everyone there. She has been so well taken care of just like our boys were. Our next chapter continues and we wouldn't think to bring her anywhere else!”

“The lady that greeted us and signed us in was really nice and competent. The doctor and the Techs were fantastic. they are definitely very good with people and animals. And they were very gentle and explained everything they were doing and I would highly recommend for people to go there for their veterinary and vaccination needs. And it’s good to be able to save a little money going there because even going there can be expensive. Definitely a positive experience. It’s my second time doing that there.”
“Dr. Scanlon is hands-down the most kind, compassionate, and skilled vet I’ve come across in more than 30 years of pet ownership. He explains everything thoroughly, there’s never any pressure, and his prices are lower than any other clinic in Worcester County. Everyone who loves their fur babies should go here!
It’s heartbreaking to see how his small business has struggled through the pandemic and how hard it’s been for the office to be chronically short staffed over the last few years, which has apparently led to some people posting bad reviews. Have a heart, people! Every place is struggling with staffing these days! Professionals like Dr. Scanlon are a rare and precious resource. We will never forget his sincere sympathy and support when we had to say goodbye to our dear Rogue, and receiving the kindest card in the mail a few weeks later was the most touching gesture. Not a prefilled mass produced postcard - an actual handwritten letter. Those are the little things that put this vet at the top of the list. Our family will never go anywhere else.”
“My beloved yearling filly Merry suffered a severe knee laceration and spent just shy of 4 weeks at Ross Haven Farm after being under Dr. Kirker-Head's care at Tufts, having spent 10 days there following surgery for the injury. Our experience was exceptional from start to finish. They are competent and communicative, and the peace of mind I had the near-month she was there is truly beyond value. I've sent updates to Dr. Kirker-Head since Merry has come home and he has continued to guide us in the right direction as her recovery resumes. Cannot recommend Ross Haven Farm enough to anyone looking for a safe, beautiful place for their horse to heal surrounded by a qualified team.”

We were allowed to see out kitten get his treatment through a little glass window & Gianna handled him so well & it was very nice to see her comforting my little fur baby when he was distressed from having shots. “Dr. Buechner helped my boston terrier when she had a really bad corneal ulcer. The opthomology department was wonderful and easy to deal with. Very friendly and knowledgeable techs as well. Fiona my boston is back to her trouble making self thanks to the team there.”
“We had a VERY sick rat on a Sunday! We live in Spencer & there are NO exotic animals vets out here. & even worse on a Sunday evening, as all of the urgent care vets that might have seen him otherwise were closed. I was finally able to get through (it's took a couple tries) to make sure they could see him & they said come right in. When we got there they immediately took us back & put us with a tech & a vet came over within a couple minutes. Everybody was awesome with handling him with care and trying hard not to cause additionally stress. They were great with providing realistic options & pricing. Unfortunately, we did have to euthanize him, and they were very compassionate and helpful in that process too. Finally they're pricing was also very reasonable, especially for an emergency care facility. We are very grateful to the entire team.”

The Drs and the Techs that have dealt with her have always answered all of my questions and took the extra time to make sure Sadie was comfortable. “Masterful, Thoughtful care. I have never experienced better. The techs and the vet were very knowledgeable and the facility was put together so the thought. I thank everyone at this facility for being forward thinking and taking care exceptional care of our dog. They also took care of the humans, gave great advice, little hacks and simply provided the service they said they would and then some.
