“I was doing a somewhat complicated return at this store— Exchanging a few clothing articles gifted by my family over Christmas without a gift receipt.
I was promptly greeted at the register by Sophia and Bridget, both managers, who initiated the return process. Next, I met with Molly, the store director, who walked me through the process of tracing back the actual purchase history. Finally, I met with Rose— a sales associate who helped me pick out what I would actually wear in the long run.
I typically do not interact with the sales team in retail stores. I prefer to come in with an idea of what I want, get that, and get out. That said, Rose was extremely helpful in this last step of my visit, mentioning that she had sons of her own and guiding me through the process of picking out clothes that I will actually wear!
Finally, a quick shout-out to Maryann (whom I did not interact with directly, but observed from a distance) for performing the front-door screening for people headed into the store.
The team worked together efficiently— like a well-oiled machine— tracing back thru the steps of the return successfully and making it to the finish line. Very professional and I will be shopping here again!”
“Chris was an absolute lifesaver! I went in looking for jeans. Everyone knows what a headache Jean shopping is but I’ve heard (and now know!) that madewell is the best place to buy jeans. Chris helped me through the whole process, selecting the best styles, helping me find my size (which depends on the style), styled tops and jackets to go with, and held me decide on “the one.” Chris is an absolute gem, and he deserves a huge raise for his amazing work!”
“I want to highlight the excellent work of one of the employees. Unfortunately, I don’t know her name, but she was incredibly helpful during my product exchange. She is Asian and the store’s general manager—these are the only details I know about her. However, I must say, she is an outstanding worker. This place should be proud to have her. She is truly a great asset to this store. May God bless her and all her loved ones!”
“Every time I go into Vince the staff is always amazing. I love that they email me outfit ideas when new things come in. Normally I work with Kelly, but when she's not there Vicki has become my person. Very dangerous....You end up wanting the whole store! Their funnel necks are so much better than turtlenecks! Especially if you are sensitive. 10/10”

“wow these reviews here seem like a tirade against the store... I am sorry but it is not completely believable. I have been shopping there for ages, there is never a long line to the cashier, cloths are never wrinkled... I wonder whats going on here? a nice store, I am not American but treated fine .”

“Staff have always been friendly and helpful. I usually prefer buying online for the convenience but they really demonstrate the value of in person shopping. Came here for a fitten shirt and tuxedo adjustments initially and had a good experience. Lost a button on said tuxedo and they were able to match the button without replacing! (Something the online Brooks Brothers chat was recommending)”
