“I was doing a somewhat complicated return at this store— Exchanging a few clothing articles gifted by my family over Christmas without a gift receipt.
I was promptly greeted at the register by Sophia and Bridget, both managers, who initiated the return process. Next, I met with Molly, the store director, who walked me through the process of tracing back the actual purchase history. Finally, I met with Rose— a sales associate who helped me pick out what I would actually wear in the long run.
I typically do not interact with the sales team in retail stores. I prefer to come in with an idea of what I want, get that, and get out. That said, Rose was extremely helpful in this last step of my visit, mentioning that she had sons of her own and guiding me through the process of picking out clothes that I will actually wear!
Finally, a quick shout-out to Maryann (whom I did not interact with directly, but observed from a distance) for performing the front-door screening for people headed into the store.
The team worked together efficiently— like a well-oiled machine— tracing back thru the steps of the return successfully and making it to the finish line. Very professional and I will be shopping here again!”

Aida was professional and friendly, she also knows extremely well the special beauty of each dress and she is also very effective to understand the future to be bride’s vision and preferences, made extremely valuable recommendation to speed up this wedding dress purchase process. We tried multiple dresses and finally she was able to help us find THE ONE! Purchasing experience was very smooth, local trusted Tailoring service is recommending as well. Rest of the staff in the store also were very nice, our fitting appointment is quite among our family and we got our time dedicated to evaluate every single dress. Strongly recommend to make appointment ahead of time so you will have your own time and services, also recommend later of the day appointment time so possibly less customer traffic as well.”

“I shop here all the time for my wife and i just have to say that, this is BY FAR the best free people experience I've ever had. The store manager Kaity is a super nice person and she seems to always have a positive attitude when i come in. Her staff are equally nice and respectful and are always willing to help me find stuff. (Because I'm a dude I'm not so good at shopping for the wife). I'd recommend anyone to come down and see for themselves that this is one of, if not the best free people in MA.”
“Chris was an absolute lifesaver! I went in looking for jeans. Everyone knows what a headache Jean shopping is but I’ve heard (and now know!) that madewell is the best place to buy jeans. Chris helped me through the whole process, selecting the best styles, helping me find my size (which depends on the style), styled tops and jackets to go with, and held me decide on “the one.” Chris is an absolute gem, and he deserves a huge raise for his amazing work!”

Came here for a fitten shirt and tuxedo adjustments initially and had a good experience. Lost a button on said tuxedo and they were able to match the button without replacing! (Something the online Brooks Brothers chat was recommending)”
