You could instantly tell that it was a special boutique where you weren't going to find the same old thing. It did not disappoint! Not only were the pieces wonderfully unique and beautifully made, but Jemesii and Brick were so kind, thoughtful, helpful, and absolutely made the experience. Shopping is so much better when you feel like you have an expert helping to curate the experience and really educate you about what you're buying. After years of paying expensive repair bills for my old Barbour jackets, I bought a Filson Field Jacket five years ago. I live in Boston, wear it daily, and rough it up completely. It recently went in for service with several heavily worn spots. I just picked it up from the store today, and they completed every single repair entirely free of charge.
Paired with the liner and their shearling vest, this jacket kept me perfectly toasty through some brutal winter days this year. The employee at the counter told me the oldest jacket they’ve serviced was 70 years old, and after seeing how they restored mine, I believe it. Amazing product, phenomenal customer service, and highly recommended!”

“I had such a wonderful experience here! I love East Coast boutiques, and this one was exactly what I was looking for during my trip to Boston. Greta, the owner, was able to create a custom necklace for me from a pair of earrings I completely fell in love with. She personalized the length to my exact specifications and made sure I loved every detail.
This has truly become one of my favorite vacation memories, and I’m so grateful for Greta’s kindness and incredible attention to detail. I cannot recommend this place enough! If there’s one shop you visit in Beacon Hill, make it East Coast Ivy Boutique.”

“I walked into Ministry of Supply having never heard about it before—When I walked out, I'm a customer for life.Their clothes fit like they were tailored to me, and being 5' 6" with broad shoulders but a narrow waist isn't always easy to fit just right. The fabric and colors were perfect, the durability feels great. Extremely satisfied with the merchandise.Their customer service is exceptional—if I got the names of the guys working there I'd give them shoutouts. They made me feel human after a long season of setbacks. Walking out of there, I wanted to bottle up the experience of that interaction to relive over and over again. Most companies preach customer service but this was the first time in a long time I've seen people living it in their workday. Thank you guys x1000. I'm already looking forward to the next trip there.”

I had a lovely conversation with the owner and she told me the history of her store and how she got into fashion. She's incredibly kind, insightful and helpful; even when my questions didn't pertain to her wares. Additionally, she said that if the clothing items I'd purchased didn't fit the way I wanted to, that she would alter them for free!!! I will definitely be coming back: both to buy clothes and to chat!”

“Stopped by 3J Clothing Store in Dorchester, Boston and had an excellent experience. This is easily one of the best local clothing stores in Dorchester for streetwear, trendy fashion, hoodies, graphic tees, jeans, sneakers, hats, and accessories. They have a fresh selection of styles for men and women, with new pieces that you usually only find online, but here you can shop in person and take it home the same day.
The store was clean, organized, and had a great vibe as soon as I walked in. The staff was friendly, helpful, and knew what styles are popular right now. They helped me find the right fit quickly and made the whole shopping experience easy. Prices were fair, quality was solid, and they had a lot more variety than most local shops.

“I stumbled across Everlane a few years ago after a recommendation from a friend. I love the capsule closet and minimalist vibes and the quality but what keeps me coming back is the staff at the Seaport store. I’ve brought friends and family who hate shopping and they leave with a new wardrobe and a smile on their face. I truly attribute this to the store manager. She is so bubbly and warm but also knows her stuff. She’s not there to push you to spend money but she genuinely wants you to be satisfied for the long term with your clothes and how you feel in your clothes. I read the negative reviews before coming in here, so I was mentally prepared. From my experience, I didn't encounter anything negative. The worker at the counter seemed friendly and greeted me as I walked in. I bought a coat that was $50. I went to the cashier guy to buy my item. I noticed he didnt like making eye contact with me. Other than that everything seemed fine.”

“I can't believe I've been walking past this place for years! Dress is my new favorite store on Charles St (and maybe all of Boston). This place carries a beautifully curated collection of trendy upscale brands, with an emphasis on French designers. Whether you're looking for a staple for your capsule wardrobe or a statement piece for the season, Dress has you covered with basics from A.P.C. to funky prints from Saloni. It's also one of the few places on Charles St you can just get a wearable, simple piece of high quality that's still young and fresh. It's pricey, so you likely won't be picking up a ton of casual stuff here, but you might luck out on the 50% off rack. Even if the clothes are out of todays's budget, you should still go to check out the gorgeous selection of perfumes and candles. I'm so glad I found this hidden gem!”

“My husband took me to Heart and Soul to shop for my birthday, and it was such a lovely experience. I picked out some beautiful jewelry and a handwoven purse. When I got home and started using the bag, I noticed that one of the hooks wasn’t as sturdy as it should be. I reached out to the store, and they were incredibly accommodating. They offered to either fix the purse or send me a similar one—no hassle at all!
The woman who helped us in the store was so kind and helpful, and that same warm service continued even after our visit. I truly appreciate how they went above and beyond to make things right. I’ll definitely be back!”
