The hot meals were amazing and homecooked and all of the meats and produce were cheaper and fresher looking than any other grocery store I've been to. Will be coming back for my personal groceries. “Nice and tidy little store with a lot of Korean cuisine to choose from. Friendly proprietor, and they always have hard to find Korean brand food items. Highly recommend a visit, if not to buy, but to peruse. All food items are fresh, clearly labeled, and once again, items you'd need to cook an amazing dinner are always in stock.”

“I was wandering around the store this morning looking for Poppycock, which I have done on three separate occasions. I stopped an employee named Chris J. and asked if she knew where I might find it, she looked and said maybe in front of the store. I thank her and continued on shopping. 15 minutes later while I was in the frozen food section here comes Chris with two cans of Poppycock original and Cashew, I took both. I have never had an employee of BJ's go above and beyond in such a way. I am very grateful. Thank you Chris J. you are one very nice person”

Great fresh food, pre made meals or sandwiches made to order - plus a surprising home made selection of baked goods (try the cupcakes when they're available, cookies when they're not!) She didn’t see where it could have gone but came out to see if it had happen to fall out on the ground witch it did. GREATLY appreciated the fact she came out with me to look for it!! “In this country, racism exists in professional and personal lives, there's no doubt about it. 14% of the US population says racism is not a problem in the country. Stopped by the Big Y on Memorial Drive in Chicopee and the staff on the sales floor was overwhelmingly predominantly "white", I didn't see any negative attitudes or behavior directed towards the two "black" customers doing their business. Either the members of the Big Y staff are extremely talented thespians or....Granted, the weather was nice so the shoppers didn't come into the store with the "terrible weather syndrome" in effect.It wasn't very busy, either so the service wasn't hurried at all.I was suitably impressed and actually enjoyed my shopping experience.”

“Always a good shopping experience at the Chicopee Big Y. The seafood looked very fresh and plentiful. The guy who helped me was great! The store was very clean. There were plenty of tills available for checkout. I was in and out quickly. Overall a great shopping trip!”
