“I’ve honestly never experienced better customer service anywhere, ever. My family and I have been loyal Red Wing customers in Shrewsbury for years — my dad and I both swear by their boots. I was in a pinch trying to find my dad the perfect birthday gift and couldn’t think of anything until I realized his boots (which he loves) had gotten soaked and were due for replacement.
I called the store hoping someone could help me find the exact model he wears, since I couldn’t find them online. Luckily, I got connected with Cassandra, and she was nothing short of incredible. She was completely unwavering and determined to help me track down these boots — even though I didn’t have the order info handy. We went through multiple family phone numbers and emails until she finally found the right one.
Not only did Cassandra locate the discontinued model my dad loves, but she also managed to track them down and get them ordered in time for his birthday. She even double-checked our scan history to make sure the sizing was perfect.
Most people would have stopped halfway, but Cassandra went above and beyond in every way. Her unwavering persistence, professionalism, and genuine care for the situation turned what could’ve been a tedious hunt into a great story — and made my dad’s birthday that much more special. The world needs more people like Cassandra.”
“The staff at PR running were incredibly helpful and patient. I had to go in due to a plantar fasciitis diagnosis and had to bring my 3 young children. The staff was outstanding. They helped me find sneakers that are already helping my heel. They also were so kind in dealing with my three extra energetic children. We left a toy behind (I wasn't aware at the time) and I got a phone call, after they had closed, to let me know that they had the toy and set it aside for us. It was one of the nicest things a business has ever done. I could not recommend a business more.”

“My favorite place for serious running and foot apparel. I've shopped here before but I felt bad for showing up 30 min before closing but I knew I would be quick. I was immediately greeted by the 3 employees there. The young man that helped me asked if I needed help finding anything in particular. New running shoes. I'm getting back into running. He explained the process. He was so knowledgeable about everything, which was surprising because he was very young. They check how you walk, they have you step onto a scanner they have that measures your body weight and locations of pressure. All to assist them with finding you the right shoes for you. He came back with boxes of all sorts. He explained the dynamics of every shoe, what it's known for, etc. Not one person was in a rush to close the store. I tried on a few pairs, they even offered to have shoes shipped to the store or my home if they didn't have them there. I decided on the ones I wanted. They were not overly priced, I had expected to pay more for my experience because that's what you get at Marathon Sports, a very thorough and helpful experience. It gives me confidence that I will be comfortable in my new shoes. Other retailers should learn from this place. I will never go anywhere else.”
“This is the second time I have had my boots resoled here. Both boots were well loved and broken in- Sam Edelman boots and just recently my Frye boots. Expertly repaired. The leather on these boots was showing the wear of 10 years and the soles had holes in them. They look brand new- customer service is great, can't go wrong . Quality workmanship and great business. Shop small.”
“The store was great we went in to get a pair of dress sneakers for a wedding for a decent price. we had already been looking in tons of store and online with no luck. Everything he likes wasn't in his size and anything that wasn't his size he didn't like. we were in this store for 5 mins and found a pair of shoes that he lived, it was exactly what he was looking for and they were a good price. The cashier also informed us on signing up quickly with the phone number and we saved like another 10 -15% off or we got points I can't remember. We were in a rush, but we're definitely going back to get a few pairs of shoes each. The store was very clean, everything was organized, it was fairly decent size and staff was polite.”

“okay I'll admitTalbots hasn't been the first store I would shop in...only because it hasn't been my style. However every once in a while they have a top that catches my eye.That is what happen a new catalog arrive and there were many tops to so I had to go and see for myself. After only 40 minutes I had found 4 new tops to bring home.Why tops? for me I love that they are 100% cotton, the fit is easy and comfortable. Some can be dressed up with a jacket or others worn alone and still look perfect for everyday.”

“The store is clean, staff are friendly and helpful. I did find a pair of sketches sneakers I really loved that they did not have my size in. When I asked if they had anything out back, I was informed that they do not carry back stock. So whatcha see is what they have. BUT it was so easy to order them right there at the register and have them shipped to me via FedEx I paid for them and 2 days later they showed up and fit nicely. I was also told that if they didn't fit well I could return them yo the store and either order another size or get a refund. Now I think that says our customers come first. I will def shop here for shoes again.”
“Being anchored by the likes of Sears, Forever 21, and JC PENNY how can this place lose? As a bonus to the barren spaces they have security that take extraordinary efforts to keep brown people like me safe. I mean after spotting me by the food court I saw the same security officer as I entered and exited every store, effing amazing. That's the kinda of service reserved for the Royal family. Now don't let me get started on the bathrooms, you could literally eat off those floors.”

“Friday night the kids, grandpa and I went shoe shopping. We discovered this place. They have a huge selection on kid’s and men’s shoes and boots. The hospitality, a.k.a. customer service was impeccable, the staff took care of my Dad and help them find shoes that fit his foot with his condition. They even help the kids try on their shoes they tied up all the laces and everything. I highly recommend this store if you are looking for high quality customer service with great prices.”
