“The newest and most "modern" bank of the 21st century. Not surprisingly, Citizens Bank has opened a brand new, modern bank in Legacy Place, which is sponsored by Citizens Bank and has signs all over for Citizens. I even believe the entire top level of the Legacy Place buildings is all offices for them... not completely sure though. Anyway, the retail bank is located across from the entrance of Whole Foods and next to the former City Sports and upcoming Amazon Bookstore. The bank is open longer than EVERY other Citizens Bank that is not located in a grocery store with the hours being 7 days a week! Monday-Wednesday 9-5, Thursday 9-6, Friday 9-7, Saturday 10-3, Sunday 11-3. While it is unable to provide drive thru service (the other Citizens in Dedham Square has a drive thru, that I also enjoy and use often), they have a lovely and welcoming atmosphere inside with lots of fancy furniture. Lovely for a bank and much better in comparison to other Citizens that are old and out of style. This is the futuristic look on banks in general. Tellers are friendly, service is fast, efficient and helpful, and they always have a huge bin of lollipops... the best thing about Citizens Bank! Not often that busy, and rarely a line. One of the two best Citizens Bank..... both of which are in Dedham. 5 stars.”

“2024 update - A couple of years ago, they ditched the live operator that answers the telephone. A sign of times, I guess. It is still fairly easy to get to a human, though it appears to be a call center now rather than someone in the customer service area in one of the branches - so service is a little more impersonal. That being said, the people at the call center still appear able to help with the things you'd expect. Still live pretty far away, but the mobile app has been improved several times and easy accomplishes things like depositing checks. Online bill payment is half-way decent to navigate, and you can even set it up to automatically make regular payments like your mortgage bill. I recently sent a comment about the online banking and the manager of the department contacted me personally. I even spoke to her directly by phone. Try that with a mega-huge bank.”
