“Not only the best gift shop in Boston, this is the best gift shop I've ever been to. It's small and cozy, but enough to find something nice to take home with you.
The longtime family owned business is run by a super friendly guy who went out of his way to take good care of my daughter and I from Vegas.”
“I love this floor cloth. And the owner, Daren was so nice to work with. Even though it was custom made to fit my space, it arrived more quickly than I expected and Daren was very communicative and helpful!!”
“The Paper Mouse is a fun little stationery store. It’s fun to stop by occasionally to pick up something I haven’t seen before. They have all sorts of cards, stamps, drawing supplies, and general stationery-related gifts.
Parking is ok — just typical street parking. But once you get inside the shop, you get a good idea of what a whimsical place it is.
I went once, when they had a stamp demo event, and they let me keep the little page with the stamps. Events can get pretty crowded, so if you’re going just to shop, try to stop by on a non-event day.”
“We were expecting an MBTA gift shop, we didn't realise we'd find such a treasure trove of maps, signs and transport related joy. Lovely folks running it and bit of an accidental travel highlight!”

“Anime Zakka is a nice store located near the end of Newbury Street, close to Uniqlo and Muji. It is below ground, leading you into a place to be immersed by anime and Japanese pop culture.
I enjoyed browsing and wandering around the store, as there were many products I’ve never heard of or seen. I found Tomica cars, a product I’ve never seen in Boston before but know many car collectors may enjoy looking at. I also found many stuffed animals I never knew existed for products I like, such as Miffy.
The only downside is the products I did know were overpriced. I am a big fan of collecting lottery items, and they were nearly double the price at the store compared to what I could buy it for at online retailers.”
“I hosted a private workshop for a friend's birthday at Albertine Press and was absolutely blown away.
The instructor was phenomenal. Not only did she expertly walk us through the printing process to create our own custom stationary, but she created a sense of welcome and fun that disarmed even the most craft-averse of our group.
It was clear to me from the moment I started working with Albertine that they cared deeply about making our experience special. They put a huge amount of effort into making our party look and feel effortless. They exceeded every expectation. I cannot recommend them highly enough!”
“Kolbo is the most beautifully curated Judaica shop I have visited in the U.S. the team has great taste and a keen eye. This is not your bubbie’s Judaica shop. The stores is full of light and offers a combination of modern and traditions items, from kiddish cups to katubahs. Also a great collection of Jewish art and jewelry. Great vibe. Highly recommend.”
“Stopped inn just to see what was new and Elizabeth never disappoints. So many great options for gifts so I. Need to get back and make a purchase soon. Thinking I may find the perfect baby shower gift.”

“I ordered several ornaments from Loft & Vine and I love them! They are adorable and such good quality. And the prices were so reasonable compared to other places I've shopped for ornaments. They shipped quickly and came securely packaged with pretty printed tissue paper. The owner included her business card as well. Loft & Vine is my new go-to place for gifts and seasonal items! They also have a great selection of Boston themed items that I have my eye on.”
“Yeni and Bea were so kind and welcoming. We always come here whenever we visit Cambridge. They have a a beautiful selection of items and we felt so welcome! We can't wait to come again. Would definitely recommend!”
“I can honestly and proudly say I have been going to Proud Mary since I could count! ☺️ Everyone who works there is very special and warming. As soon as you enter the store you’re greeted by a warm smile and a very nice attitude!?Eileen, and everyone there will leave a lasting impression on you.
They are family to me. You will not make a mistake going to them and spending your hard earned money there, versus a big chain. Eileen and everyone there, works very hard to build friendships and lasting impressions on customers and friends!
As someone who has gone in there before, purely to just speak to them, I can Proudly say I will be a permanent customer and friend to them all!!!!
5/5 stars for this amazing business !! ?”
“Such a beautiful store! Spent a long time there yesterday choosing gifts and looking at the beautiful prints, fabrics, wallpaper, and shades. I know they're going to inspire some very cool future projects! A treasure in the neighborhood.”

“Favorite place for special, creative gifts and excellent perfume you can't find at Sephora! I love that the fragrance brands at shake the tree change at least annually so I always find new ones that I hadn't seen before. The store buyer has excellent taste. Join their mailing list for events and special shopping occasions.”
“Bodhi Leaf ... Wow! An amazing Tibetan gift shop full of wonderful clothes, fabric wall hangings, inscence, jewlery, Buddhist items and more. The owner was wonderful to speak with and we made several purchases. We will be back to buy more when we visit Boston next time.”
“The Journey Within product line has to be one of the best skincare and self-exploration collections I’ve tried in a long time. The scent collection is incredibly calming and instantly puts your mood at ease. The lotion lasts for hours, and the consistency is rich, creamy, and not watered down at all. It leaves your skin feeling soft, hydrated, and glowing. Definitely a 10/10 experience. Highly recommend! ?✨”

“One of my favorite stores to buy gifts (for others and for myself)! Unique, beautiful, fun, gifts at a reasonable price ranging from houseware to bags and jewelry; good for Father's Days, Mother's Day, housewarming, birthday, baby showers and any other gift-giving occasion!I also did the decoupage shell making class (as a birthday gift for my sister). It was a fun and unique way to spend a Sunday. And if you haven't seen the decoupage shells that Hilary makes, they are beautiful! I loved getting to make them ourselves.Hilary -- the store owner -- is fantastic! She is creative and friendly and makes a lot of the items herself.”
“Avery is my go to gift store all year round. The selection of gifts is thoughtful and well curated. It puts me in a great frame of mind just walking into the store. Chris and Ellie are friendly and helpful and never overbearing. Selection of cards is excellent for any occasion. It is a pleasure to shop there and I highly recommend!! There is something for everyone on your list here.”
“Cutest little shop with incredible pottery and other things you might want/need as a creative! They also put on some lovely workshops and the shop owner is the sweetest ❤️”

“Katherine and Mary are my GOATS (Greatest of all time) please give them a raise they are the nicest people I’ve met, I got a jellycat guys and I was lowkey annoying but they still laughed and smiled with me!! #baddies, wait I just found out Katherine is the owner, so I say Google give them more 5 stars”
“Love this place!! They have every book you’d ever seek on all ritual art subjects and great insight if you don’t know which to get. Their jewelry is gorgeous and handmade. I love every piece I’ve ever bought, even found matching crystal studs of the same crystal”
“I recently did the Kintsugi workshop at Graymist and had such a lovely time! The instructor was very knowledgable and kind, and the class was small so that lots of individual attention could be paid to each student. And the shop itself is beautiful, with a unique collection of high quality crafts. Overall I highly recommend their classes and as a destination for a special gift, for yourself or others.”

“Imagine Jax Gifts in Wellesley is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with a delightful array of unique and handcrafted items that truly stand out. It's clear that everything in the store is chosen with an eye for the eclectic and beautiful.
I was particularly charmed by the selection of dishes and bowls – each one felt like a little piece of art, perfect for adding character to any table. The handmade cards are equally impressive, offering thoughtful and artistic alternatives to mass-produced options. And the artwork! It spans a lovely range of styles, showcasing local talent and making it easy to find something that resonates with you.
But what really caught my eye were the whimsical handmade soap flowers. They're almost too pretty to use, a testament to the creativity that fills this shop.
Beyond the incredible inventory, the owner is truly what makes Imagine Jax Gifts special. She's incredibly helpful and genuinely passionate about her products. I was looking for a specific type of candle and asked if a particular one was vegan. Without hesitation, she went above and beyond, checking the ingredients and even calling the supplier to ensure she gave me an accurate answer. That level of dedication and customer service is rare and truly appreciated.
Imagine Jax Gifts is more than just a store; it's a wonderfully curated experience where you're sure to find the perfect unique gift or a special treat for yourself, all while enjoying the warm and knowledgeable service of a truly fantastic owner. Highly recommend!”
“The Dedham Exchange is simply the BEST! Literally something for everyone here….from Simon Pearce to the cutest baby gifts around. My one stop shop! And the volunteers are so helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.”
