“This place is amazing from The best customer service I have ever had, as well as the knowledge. For my son is a goalie and I don’t know much about lacrosse. He didn’t try to sell me things that my son did not need like a lot of places will do. And his emergency stringing service is absolutely amazing my son has his back in a couple days mind you, he must be stringing at least 10 a day. if your son or Daughter plays lacrosse or you play lacrosse this is the place to go.”

“You can usually find some good deals for activewear and outdoorsy type items. Of course, it is a treasure hunt and the items are always changing all the time but I've scored stuff like a yoga mat I paid $50 for that I would pay $130 for at my yoga studio.”

We felt no sales pressure but once we were ready to discuss options they were great in explaining the different skis and what would work best for his type of skiing. They also called other stores looking for ski poles. We were surprised that they told us to wait so we could walk out with our skis fully binded and ready to hit the mountain. Lids runs a 50% rate (for me) of someone knowing how to embroider a hat and do it well.On this occasion, assistant manager/Josh gave stellar service, not just to me but all his customers during a busy holiday season. He balanced the store operation so well with a cool and calm and respectful demeanor. The machine messed up another customers hat and Josh was able to diffuse any potential unpleasantness by articulating the solution so well.Above all, he worked with me closely and my hat came out perfect. “Drove 45 minutes to give this place a try with my family. We got ice skates for me and my husband. He was so funny cracking jokes with my daughter. Very sarcastic funny owner. He was helpful more helpful than the owner of Dicks sporting goods. Will be going to him for my sports need and ice skate sharpening from now on. Worth the drive.”
